General Hospital Spoilers: Michael Hesitant About Marrying Quickly – Emotional Strain Would Be Too Much For Sasha

General Hospital spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is intimidated by the idea of having to marry quickly, and having to marry someone besides his girlfriend Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to stand a better chance at sole custody of his and Nelle Benson’s (Chloe Lanier) child, Wiley Corinthos (Theo and Erik Olson) in upcoming episodes of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Attorney Diane Miller Was Afraid That Sasha Gilmore’s Past Fraud Would Hurt Their Case

General Hospital viewers will recall that although Michael had proposed to Sasha, and she had accepted and was ready to move up what they figured would be their eventual marriage anyway, Attorney Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) put the kibosh on it because she said Sasha’s past fraud of pretending to be Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) long-lost daughter would hurt the case – even though it wasn’t exactly front-page news, Port Charles is not that big of a town, and gossip travels fast – especially when you have someone like Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) hot on the trail of a major exposé!

So with the custody case being quickly moved forward as soon as possible because of Nelle’s lawsuit against General Hospital for operating on Wiley with forged permission, and she is using that with the family court as well, Michael is going to have to find someone to marry that the court will be approving of and better yet, impressed with and he is going to have to do it right away!

GH Spoilers – Willow Tait Is Torn – She Wants Wiley Corinthos To Be Safe

Sasha has talked to Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) before about her being the perfect wife for Michael – for family court purposes, that is! But Willow loves Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and if she marries Michael it would be a long time before she could marry Chase, even though the marriage to Michael could likely be quickly annulled once the sole custody is a done deal. They would have to stay married long enough to show the family court that it wasn’t just a put-together sham and that Willow would continue to be Wiley’s stepmother, of course.

Nelle will probably dispute the marriage being for real anyway, but Michael and Willow have been very close friends for as long as he has been involved with Sasha, and maybe a little longer! But she’s all in for keeping Wiley safe, and has proven it ever since she found out that he wasn’t really her baby – she fought Nelle to keep her from taking Wiley and skipping the country and had been willing to be charged with contempt of court and spend a few nights in jail for it when Shiloh Archer (Coby Ryan McLaughlin) was trying to get custody of him!

Strangely, Diane doesn’t think that history would hurt their family court case, when Sasha didn’t do any jail time for her fraud and Diane thinks that will hurt the family court case! Diane probably thinks she can spin the contempt of court charges and jail time in the right direction for Willow since she was trying to protect Wiley from Shiloh.

Michael Corinthos And Willow Tait Do NOT Want To Marry Each Other, Not Even For Wiley Corinthos’ Sake!

Michael loves Sasha, and Willow loves Chase. They don’t want to change partners even for Wiley’s sake, although part of Willow’s hesitation is because she doesn’t want to hurt Chase, and she isn’t sure it is her place to risk everything to help Michael to save his child – but when she remembers how Nelle literally beat her up to get Wiley away from her, then she wavers back towards the opinion that Wiley, like Michael’s, needs every bit of protection from Nelle as he did from Shiloh when she thought Wiley was hers!

Chase and Willow have a heart to heart talk about the whole situation, and even though he understands if she were to marry Michael her heart would still belong to Chase, and it would be for Wiley’s sake, she still is very hesitant to go along with the suggestion. Michael is hesitant as well, because of the emotional strain and turmoil it could cause in his relationship with Sasha – as long as the family court is monitoring Wiley’s family, not to mention NELLE monitoring the family, as they know that she will, they will have to sneak around for stolen moments with their true loves, and that will be difficult!

But for Wiley’s sake, Chase and Sasha will make a desperate move to make sure Michael and Willow marry because they are willing to put their respective love for Willow and Michael above their relationships and are willing to sacrifice their relationships for the good of the child!
