Of course, she went on living her life and is now back in Salem. She just found out from Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) that Philip is back in town as well. Even though he did ghost her, Chloe doesn’t have any hard feelings. It would be different if the two didn’t know each other so well, but they have known each other since high school.

In the new issue of Soap Opera Digest, it is confirmed that Philip didn’t get involved in gambling on his own. Mimi Lockhart (Farah Fath) actually got him into it, which resulted in an addiction and Philip getting involved in the mob. Eventually, that led to Philip agreeing to repay his debt by using Titan for money laundering. It is an arrangement that was set up by Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). However, Philip doesn’t tell Chloe all of these details, but she will soon find out.

“They’re just happy to see each other and start another chapter in both of their lives and see what happens. Very quickly the story takes a turn, though. They’re dealing with a whole other drama.”
