Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: 3 Reasons Tripp Comes Back To Salem

NBC Days of our Lives spoilers tease that a fan fave is about to come back to Salem when Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) returns. He is Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) son and there could be a number of intriguing reasons the character comes back in September.

Adams debuted as the Son of Patch in 2017. During his two year stint, he had a lot of ups and downs as he tried to get his dad’s wife in trouble and was a general misfit in the beginning. By the time he left, he had warmed to his doctor stepmom and she was the reason he decided to become a doctor and left town to go off to medical school.

Here are three explosive reasons to explain why Tripp comes back!

#1 He Is Allie Horton’s Baby Daddy!

The most delicious reason that Tripp would come back would be to claim his baby with, wait for it, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold)! Someone had to father Allie’s baby after all. There is a huge fight over who gets to keep the unnamed babe, and if he can prove paternity, the whole fiasco would be over with, and a brand new dramatic arc would begin. If this is the case we’ll have to wait and see if Allie and Tripp had a one night stand or if their relationship ended badly. Or, if Allie ran away from him like she ran away from her baby!

#2 His Dad’s Life Is In Danger

Patch Johnson is a man of mystery and action, a former Merchant Marine. He is never far from a bullet, a gun or an eye-gouging stiletto, and as such his life has been on the line more times than we can count. Right now he’s getting his groove back with Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) but it won’t be long before he hears the siren song of danger. Will Tripp come back to see his dad one last time, if it comes to that?

#3 Tripp Johnson Is The Newest Addition To Salem’s Hospital Staff

Tripp left town to go to medical school. Could it be that he’s all done, and ready to hang his shingle? Since Kayla was his inspiration, it would be only fitting that he come back and work with her. And wouldn’t it be great if he specialized in psychiatry, thus allowing Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to take a hard pass when of her friends or relatives needs some head shrinking?
