Young and the Restless Spoilers Wednesday, February 27: Rey Swears Secrecy – Victor Rages in the Courtroom – Kyle’s Plan to Save Lola

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Wednesday, February 27, tease that the drama’s about to heat up. In the courtroom, Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) vows to do whatever she can to help Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Meanwhile, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) tells Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) it’s not a good idea for them to go on the stand.

Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’s not interested in Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) defense of her mother. Nick doesn’t have the same understanding of why Phyllis Summers’ (Gina Tognoni) betrayed the others. Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) eventually makes her opening statement and makes the cover-up crew members seem like horrible human beings.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor’s Courtroom Outburst

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can’t handle Christine’s rant anymore, so he stands up and calls this an egregious misconstruction of facts. The judge settles Victor down along with everybody else in the courtroom. Victor is asked to leave, so he obeys and fumes out the door. Christine picks up where she left off and argues that the Newmans shouldn’t get a pass when it comes to murder.

Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) wants to make sure Sharon is treated as a separate client by the jury. She wants them to view Sharon’s case on its own when deciding her fate. Michael also takes his chance to poke holes in Christine’s evidence. The fact that there’s no body is brought up as an issue.

After the judge calls a recess, Sharon frets to Brittany about Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and how she’s caught up in this. She hates this for her daughter, but Brittany hopes to undo whatever damage is done on cross-examination. At the coffeehouse, Mariah worries about saying the wrong thing and blowing this for her mom. Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tries to comfort his bestie.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Lola Needs A Liver Donor

Next, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) calls Kyle and fills him in on Lola Rosales’ (Sasha Calle) need for a liver donor. He recruits Mariah for his desperate plan, which involves a GC Buzz segment that asks people to get tested and hopefully give the gift of life. Kyle learns he isn’t a match, but at least scores a visit with Lola. Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) is grateful for Kyle’s help, so he cuts him some slack.

At home, Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez) gets assurance that her role in the attack will remain a secret. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) doesn’t want his kid born behind bars. He admits maybe this is a sign they should be together, but he can’t just forgive and forget yet.

Rey questions if Mia really wants this baby like he does, so she promises she’s on board. He can’t wait to spread the word that he’s going to be a dad, but Mia wants to wait. It’s too soon for that, so Rey is OK with holding off.
