‘Young and the Restless’ Comings and Goings: Adam Returns – Phyllis Switch – Malcolm And Lily Check In

“Young and the Restless” (Y&R) spoilers for the week of April 15 tease that big comebacks are in the works at the CBS soap opera. Adam Newman will be returning. Phyllis Abbott will get a new face. And, Malcolm Winters will come home to pay his respect to his brother, Neil Winters after learning of his sudden death. Here’s what you need to know about what’s ahead on Y&R.

Y&R Spoilers: Adam Newman Returns!

The Y&R fans spoke and, finally, the soap opera listened. Adam Newman will be returning to Genoa City in the coming weeks. According to SOD, Mark Grossman will play the role. Michael Muhney was not rehired for the role, something many viewers wanted to see.

Based on his acting credits, the actor will do a great job as the new Adam.

Young and The Restless Spoilers: Phyllis Summers Switch Up

In a move to restore Y&R to the show the fans knew and loved, the new regime decided to rehire Michelle Stafford as Phyllis, booting current Phyllis –Gina Tognoni—from the show. Gina will appear until June, then Stafford will return the role that made her daytime royalty.

Y&R Spoilers: Neil Winter’s Funeral Brings Many Familiar Faces

Shemar Moore will return as Malcolm Winters during the week of April 22. He will pay his respects to his brother, Neil (Kristoff St. John), who will die suddenly in an accident.

Julia Pace Mitchell will return as Sofia Dupre for Neil’s funeral. Also, Neil’s son Moses, who is portrayed by Dax Randall, will attend his father’s funeral with Sofia.

Angie Cornwell will return as Leslie Michaelson for Neil’s funeral, too. At one time, Leslie was engaged to Neil. But their relationship never worked out.

Christel Khalil will return this week as Lily Winters. She will want to pack up some of her things and finalize her divorce. Her plan hit a snag when her dad is in a horrific accident with the twins in tow.

Young and Restless Spoilers: Young Dina Mergeron Is Back

Cathy Marks, who plays young Dina Mergeron, will return this week for scenes. She will appear in a flashback as a young wife and mother. It will tie into Dina’s storyline this week. She will tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) that he is a disappointment and he is ruining his father’s legacy.
