The Bold and the Beautiful Recap, Thursday July 18: Brooke Wants Hope To Cancel The Wedding

The Bold and the Beautiful recap for Thursday, July 18th finds Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) begging Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) to pull the plug on her wedding to Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) only moments before it’s supposed to happen. Also, Thomas decides to give his father Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) a message that he wants relayed to Brooke while Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) tries to take matters into his own hands.
The Wedding Day Is Finally Here
It begins with Thomas helping his son Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) get ready for the wedding. Ridge joins them and says that it’s too bad that Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) is not there with them, as she is working in Africa on a charity mission. Thomas says that he wishes he could get more support from Brooke. He warns Ridge that Brooke needs to stop meddling in his business. In the other room, Hope is looking at a photo of Douglas. Brooke asks her if she’s having second thoughts about the wedding. Hope isn’t so sure herself.
At the cliff house, Liam and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) are getting ready for the wedding. Liam tells her that she looks beautiful. They make a comment about how this will be the girls’ first wedding. Steffy can sense that Liam isn’t feeling good about this. Steffy tells Liam that he needs to think about Hope and more importantly, be there for her.
Negative Energy
Everyone begins to arrive for the wedding at Brooke’s house, including Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer), Eric Forrester (John McCook), and the rest of the family. Liam takes a moment to talk to Thomas and warns him that he shouldn’t be playing any games with Hope’s heart. Thomas looks undeterred. Downstairs, Eric is surprised to find out that Steffy and Hope have grown so close in recent years.
Ridge takes Brooke to the side, and she tells him once again that she’s not happy with this wedding. Ridge thinks it’s time for her to simmer down. Eric thinks there’s too much negative energy in the room. When Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) asks if Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) is coming to the wedding, Thomas makes a comment about how all of the Logan women hate him.

Brooke Logan Wants Hope Logan To Back Out
Upstairs, Steffy is helping Hope get ready when Brooke comes in again. She tells her that she doesn’t have to go through with this wedding if her heart is not ready. Hope says that Douglas needs her. Brooke points out that she’s getting married to be Thomas’ wife, not Douglas’ mother. She then tells Hope that this might end up being the biggest mistake of her life and begs Hope to not marry Thomas.
