Days of Our Lives Recap Friday, March 1 – Tripp Finds Claire’s Lighter; J.J. Warns Haley

Days of Our Lives’ Friday March 1 episode recap begins with Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) bringing her jewelry box downstairs and is looking at the lighter when Tripp (Lucas Adams) comes into the room. Tripp asks what Claire is hiding; she claims it is his birthday gift. Claire tells Tripp about Haley’s (Thia Megia) and Melinda’s (Laura Kai Chen) connection.

Days of Our Lives Recap – Claire Lies To Tripp

Tripp is upset that Haley is facing deportation. Claire wishes Tripp would be that concerned about her. Claire thinks Haley deserves to leave the country. Tripp thinks Claire is no better than Haley. Claire tells Tripp she isn’t evil even if she has done some bad things in her life. Claire starts to get dressed for work and Tripp looks in her jewelry box. Tripp pulls the lighter out and asks Claire if that is his present.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – Ciara Trusts Ben

Days of Our Lives Ciara (Victoria Konefal) calls Hope (Kristian Alfonso) who hasn’t picked her up yet. Hope is tied up at Bayview, Ciara tells her she is worried about Ben (Robert Scott Wilson). Ben arrives to visit Ciara; she asks where he has been. Ben has been wrestling with the fact he tried to kill his sister. Ben tells Ciara he is still a killer. Ciara tells Ben that Jordan (Chrishell Hartley) is the way she is because of Clyde (James Read).

Ciara tries to convince Ben he isn’t evil like Clyde. Ben wants to go away. Ciara tells Ben he needs people to support him. Ben tells Ciara he never thought he would feel this way again. Ben is afraid of hurting Ciara. Ciara says she was scared of him in the beginning, but he always stopped her from being scared. Ciara tells Ben she believes him with all her heart. Ben tells Ciara there is still evil inside of him.

Ben used to think he could control it but not anymore. Ciara tells Ben they have to deal with his fears. Ciara wants Ben to start seeing Marlena (Deidre Hall) again. Ciara says she will always stand by Ben. Ben tells Ciara he can’t risk doing to her what he did to Jordan. Ben tells Ciara he thinks it’s best if they don’t see each other anymore.

Days of Our Lives – Eli And Lani Question J.J.

Days of Our Lives Eli (Lamon Archey) and Lani (Sal Stowers) have been instructed to pick up Haley. Lani wants to know why they have to pick up Haley. Eli and Lani question Melinda who lies about knowing Haley’s status. Eli and Lani go to J.J.’s (Casey Moss) to question Haley. J.J. tells them Haley moved out; she’s upset with him over what Jack (Matthew Ashford) did. J.J. refuses to help Eli and Lani arrest Haley. J.J. tells Eli and Lani that Haley is not strong and he is afraid of what she might do.

DOOL Recap – Kayla Encourages Haley

Days of Our Lives Haley discusses her situation with Kayla (Mary Beth Evans). Haley tells Kayla this situation is why she tried to kill herself. Kayla hugs Haley and tells her it’s ok. Haley tells Kayla that Melinda told her she’s on her own now. Haley feels guilty about hurting Melinda’s chances of being mayor.

Kayla tells Haley that J.J. is a good guy. Haley is furious that J.J. talked to Jack. Haley has to go to a country where she doesn’t know anyone and females aren’t valued. Kayla tells Haley she will speak to the board about her keeping the job. Eli and Lani come to Kayla office wanting to talk to Haley. J.J. arrives and tells Haley the cops are after her.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers – J.J. And Jennifer Discuss Jack

Days of Our Lives Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) visits J.J. and asks if what Jack said about Haley was true. Haley thought she could trust J.J., who thought he could believe Jack. J.J. wishes he had come to Jennifer instead. Jennifer asks if J.J. told Jack that Melinda was Haley’s sister, he says no.

Jennifer realizes that Eve (Kassie Moss) is behind this. J.J. says Eve is using Jack to hurt them. Jennifer tells J.J. it’s not all on Eve. Jennifer tells J.J. that Jack did horrible things in his past. J.J. doesn’t want to believe Jack did this on his own. Jennifer doesn’t know what is wrong with Jack. Jennifer thinks the man they love is inside Jack. J.J. tells Jennifer that Jack said he loves him and then did this.

Days Of Our Lives – Jennifer Confronts Jack

Days of Our Lives Jack is thinking about his conversation with J.J. and Jennifer after the debate. Eve hugs Jack and asks if he’s thinking about J.J. Eve tells Jack that J.J. will come around. Eve says Jack did what was best for J.J., but Jack believes it was best for Eve. Jack said when J.J. confided trusted him, it felt good. Jack tells Eve not to tell him she did this for J.J. Eve tells Jack this was his choice. Jack tells Eve that J.J. hates him now. Jack tells Eve he doesn’t know why he did this publicly. Eve tells Jack he will be a great mayor. Jack says this might be a stepping stone to the Senate or governor’s mansion. Melinda confronts Jack and Eve about her campaign.

Melinda tells Jack she’s voting for Abe. Eve says they need to beat the deadline on the filing. Eve wants to call the campaign headquarters. Jack and Eve using Melinda’s misfortune to get Jack on the ballot. Jennifer goes to Eve’s to confront Jack. Eve asks if Haley got arrested. Jennifer accuses Jack of taking Haley’s misfortune and using it to his advantage. Jack says Haley is taking advantage of J.J. Jennifer asks Jack how it feels to know that the cops want to detain Haley because of him. Jennifer tells Jack she never thought he would put his ambitions above their son, but she was wrong.
