The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Summer Sparks Big Reveals – Victor Right About Nick

Victor (Eric Braeden) was partially attempting to play head games with Sharon (Sharon Case) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But the words he spoke were also layered with truth, which was unsettling and will prove to vindicate his claims about Nick (Joshua Morrow). Meanwhile, Summer (Hunter King) was challenging Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), which will spark storyline reveals.

Nick left with Sharon’s blessing. He exited the Genoa City Athletic Club’s rooftop after they’d tasted mini samples that were provided by their wedding planner. Their pallets were intermixed with two digested conversations had with the ‘Moustache’.

The eponymous Newman Enterprises multinational conglomerate Victor founded served as a verbal springboard for the suspicions he wanted to raise with Sharon. He asserted that Nick would not be able to maintain a work-family balance as he was developing Dark Horse based on the nature of business.

Sharon countered her once and proposed father-in-law by pointing out Nick’s differences. However, Victor’s prior comments to Nick, about having been duplicitous in forming this rival enterprise, caused Sharon to shift her gaze downward and pivot her eyes from side to side. Further evidence of a growing unease with Nick’s new approach to life.

As previously referenced, Summer really took it to her mom as the above scenes were playing out. Phyllis learned that Summer knew about ‘Phick’s’ recent reprisal. Thus the very real threat of two couples ending was sparked.

Sharon and Billy (Jason Thompson) will be outraged when (not if) both learn what happened between their significant others. And, as Kyle (Michael Mealor) knows, Summer is determined to win their bet and thus Billy. She’s primed to do anything to create ‘Silly’, which will mean the end of ‘Philly’ and probably ‘Shick’.

Circling back to Victor, he believes that Nick will flame out before he’s able to create any lasting damage to him, or Newman Enterprises. Victor is counting on Nick’s past history, where personal mistakes thwarted various efforts, including career efforts and break-away business plans.

If proven right, as he often is, Victor will be vindicated. Sharon and Nick, along with Phyllis and Billy, will split. And Summer will be the source that sparked each storyline reveal.
