The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: J.T. Case Takes Turn – Rey Learns Shocking Truth

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: J.T. Case Takes Turn – Rey Learns Shocking TruthRey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) debut on ‘The Young and the Restless’ will lead to the truth being exposed. His first assignment is to find J.T. (Thad Luckinbill), which assumes that he’s alive. But this investigation should actually lead to a different, shocking discovery.

J.T. returned to Genoa City last December. He seemed to be the same character, but quickly revealed that he’d changed. Viewers were asked to believe that some combination of him having been electrocuted in the distant past and more recent career setbacks radically altered his personality.

Vickie (Amelia Heinle) became the main target of J.T.’s virulent behavior. The developed, dramatic climax to Luckinbill’s mini-run is believed to have taken place when Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), and Sharon (Sharon Case) heard noises coming from Vickie’s bedroom.

The trio ran upstairs as they discerned J.T.’s and Vickie’s voices. Nikki opened the door, saw that J.T. had Vickie cornered, picked up a fireplace poker and hit what was to be her again-son-in-law over the head.

Phyllis sprang into action, appointing herself as the fixer. She orchestrated a coverup, which included a body-dump at Chancellor Park. However, Jill (Jess Walton) later paid for the area of ground where J.T. is presumed to be illegally buried covered over with cement and topped by a piece of so-called art.

The above plot point blocked the coverup crew from confirming that J.T. was dead after they’d later seen what appeared to be him resurrected. In fictional reality, ‘New Nick’ (Joshua Morrow) was gaslighting.

As Rey learns what the coverup crew did, he also surely discover the shocking truth. J.T. was accidentally killed by Nikki and then unceremoniously buried in the middle of town. It would seem that governmental excavation, with resulting DNA connections to those involved, will be needed to prove this plot point. So, heavy earth equipment should soon be seen on Y&R.

Rational minds project that Nikki would then face criminal prosecution for not having reported the accidental death and that her cohorts would be disciplined for participating in the unjust Chancellor Park burial. But in order for that scenario to play out J.T. must really be dead, right?
