The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, August 14: Summer’s Stunning Discovery – Lily Explodes at Cane – Victoria Fears Nosy Nate

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, August 14: Summer’s Stunning Discovery – Lily Explodes at Cane – Victoria Fears Nosy Nate“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, August 14, tease that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) will be on edge. At The Dive Bar, Nate (Brooks Darnell) mentions the idea of Victoria showing him around town. Victoria brushes off the suggestion as Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) walks over. Nikki notes that Nate’s overseeing Victor’s (Eric Braeden) recovery, but Nate adds that he’s helping her, too.

Nate intends to get to the bottom of Nikki’s high-stress levels. Once he’s gone, Victoria expresses concern. She doesn’t want Nate to start digging around and learn too much. Nikki insists that everything’s under control, but Victoria’s fears grow when she bumps into Nate again later. She makes it clear that nothing good can come from poking your nose where it doesn’t belong.

Back with Nikki, she gets ready for a couples’ massage and dinner with Victor. He’s taken aback to learn she’s not fretting about J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) anymore. Elsewhere, Cane (Daniel Goddard) assures Lily (Christel Khalil) that they have to flee the country. Lily’s appalled and snaps about Cane resorting to an illegal plan. She doesn’t want to make this any worse, so she’s going to face the consequences.

Over with Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry), he’ll tell Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) they have to change Devon’s (Bryton James) mind about Lily’s punishment. Mattie reminds her brother that Lily is to blame for the deaths of Hilary (Mishael Morgan) and the baby. However, she intends to back Charlie up on this and do what he feels is right.

When Nate hears about Mattie and Charlie’s goal, he’s both supportive and cautious. Nate approves of the teens’ decision to fight for their mom, but he points out that Devon’s still hurt and angry. The Ashbys meet up at The Dive Bar later and agree that they have to stick together.

At Crimson Lights, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Summer (Hunter King) bicker about their bet. Mariah shows up and nearly walks right back out, but Kyle convinces her to stick around. Of course, Summer starts taking jabs about Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah’s wardrobe. It’s not long until the conflict’s rising, so Kyle tries to settle things down.

Unfortunately, the topic of Sharon (Sharon Case) and Nick’s (Joshua Morrow) relationship brings more tension. Summer doesn’t seem to believe in happy endings, but Mariah doesn’t think “Snowflake” needs to project her view on everyone else.

After Mariah heads for the exit, Kyle tells Summer why he’s made Ashley (Eileen Davidson) his ally. He suggests that she can help him go after what he wants. When the “Shick” drama comes up, Kyle wonders when Nick stayed out all night. They figure out it was the evening Nick made his Dark Horse announcement, which was the same night Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) had sex with someone.
