The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, July 2: Phyllis Suggests Digging Up J.T. – Nick Fights Back – Summer’s Admission

The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday, July 2: Phyllis Suggests Digging Up J.T. – Nick Fights Back – Summer’s Admission“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, July 2, tease that there’ll be even more concerns among the cover-up crew. At Crimson Lights, the ladies come together to debate the J.T. (Thad Luckinbill) situation. Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Sharon (Sharon Case) discuss the possibility that J.T.’s actually on the security tape.

Phyllis suggests the footage was probably tampered with. However, she has a way to settle this. Phyllis proposes closing off the park and digging up J.T.’s body. Nick (Joshua Morrow) interrupts their chat soon after. He gets updates on the security tape and eventually has a private chat with Nikki. Nick feels like Victor’s (Eric Braeden) sicker than he claims to be, so he thinks that should be a factor in the custody case.

Nikki argues that Victor’s doing all right and defends his grip on Christian (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen). She feels like Victor’s hanging on to what’s left of his family. Sharon walks over to halt their shouting match, so Nick tries an emotional plea. It gets him nowhere, so he lashes out again and takes off.

Later, Nick reaches out to Brittany (Lauren Woodland) and offers a link to Victor’s interview. He thinks it proves Victor isn’t well and wants to use that to his advantage. Back with the cover-up crew, they end up at the park. Sharon shows up to see the others standing around something truly surprising. She wonders what they’re staring at.

While they mull over that stunning discovery, Jack (Peter Bergman) has a warning for Billy (Jason Thompson). He rejects a board member bonus and suggests Billy should dial down his confidence. Billy’s feeling great since his sales projections are solid, but Jack suggests it’d be wise to wait on throwing money around. He needs to pump that money back into Jabot, but Billy refuses to listen.

Over with Summer (Hunter King), she finally tells Phyllis about her financial woes. Summer admits she’s completely broke, but Phyllis goes easy on her. She just wants to make sure Summer works hard and pays her own way. Phyllis isn’t keen on her daughter being a freeloader.

Summer bumps into a betting Billy afterward. He’s been hitting the poker table, but Summer insists that’s his secret to tell. She doesn’t plan on saying anything to Phyllis. At Devon (Bryton James) and Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) place, a technician appears for a mobile ultrasound. She has a hard time finding the baby’s heartbeat at first, but they hear it moments later.

Devon and Hilary grow closer as they celebrate their impending bundle of joy. Y&R’s letting them have a bit of happiness, but it’ll all come crashing down soon enough. Back with Jack, he discusses his mission with Kyle (Michael Mealor). They agree to team up on suing Jill (Jess Walton) and getting Dina (Marla Adams) ready to testify.
