The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, June 7: Jack And Dina Discuss His Real Dad, Shauna And Charlie Busted

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Thursday, June 7, 2018, reveals that over at Sharon McAvoy’s (Sharon Case) place, Sharon and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) chat about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and how he is trying to take baby Christian away.

Nick Doesn’t Want Sharon To Make Sacrifices

Sharon worries she is only going to cause Nick to lose Christian and tells Nick she has to leave him so he can’t use that strategy. Nick is against letting Sharon sacrifice everything and walking away.

She points out it doesn’t have to be permanent but he is not down for it. Nick then questions if he is the best father of Christian and Sharon tells him now he is letting his father get into his head. Nick decides he is going to end it once and for all.

Lily Finds Shauna in Bed

Over at Ashby’s place, Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) goes to wake up Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander) and finds Shauna Nelson (Camryn Hamm) in his bed. She is shocked to see her.

Dina Excited to See Jack

At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) hangs up from being on a call with Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) walks in and is so excited to see her “Jackie.” She tells him she has missed him so much and he tells her he has missed her too.

He apologizes for all the terrible things he has said to her and she says there is so little time they have she doesn’t want to dwell on past mistakes. Jack asks her does she want to go to the garden or take a walk. Dina says “Boring.”

Dina then adds she wants to do something dangerous and fun. She tells Jack she wants him to put the top down on his car and they can see how the day goes and lets him know she will be ready in five minutes.

Lily Questions Charlie About Shauna

Over at Hamilton-Winters Group, Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson) hands Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) some contracts he wanted. She has made some changes to them due to some mistakes. Charlie Ashby points out that is the kind of stuff that keeps her up at night and then continues to tease her.

Neil is impressed. Lily Ashby storms in with Shauna Nelson and questions Charlie about her being in his bed. Lily wants to call Shauna’s parents but Charlie doesn’t want her to. Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) appears. Charlie insists nothing happened between the two of them. Neil wants everyone to calm down.

Dina Feels Guilty For Lying

At the Dive Bar, Jack Abbott and Dina Mergeron arrive. Dina recalls her days of turning heads. Jack questions her about John Abbott not being his real father and she feels guilty for lying to him all these years. Dina talks about the times she shared with the man who is Jack’s father. Neil Winters interrupts as Jack is asking for his name. Dina can’t remember his name.

Nikki Tells Nick to Think Like a Newman

In the dining room of the Athletic Club, Nick Newman questions his mother about Victor Newman using Sharon McAvoy’s past against him in court. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) says she is on Nick’s side, but can’t deny the facts about Sharon.

Nikki tells him if he wants to win the battle he must start thinking like a Newman. They argue about Victor. Nick then says if Victor goes through with trashing Sharon he will just find out how much of a Newman he is.

Shauna’s Story is Exposed 

Back at Hamilton-Winters Group, Shauna Nelson’s story has come out and Cane Ashby says they will find a solution that suits everyone. Cane takes Charlie aside to make sure he is not sexually active. Mattie Ashby points out to her mother that Charlie was only trying to help Shauna.

Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) arrives and gets up to speed on everything. Lily says Shauna can stay in Mattie’s room, but Hilary thinks it would be better if she lived with her and Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).

Downstairs at the bar, Nick Newman updates Jack Abbott about what is going on with him and his dad. Talk turns to the situation with Dina Mergeron. Jack wants to fill in the blanks and is shocked Nick has not heard he is not John Abbott’s son.

Michael Gives Nick a Private Deal

Back at Sharon McAvoy’s place, Michael Baldwin arrives but Victor Newman does not know he is there. Michael lets Nick know that he was hired to win by any means necessary but can spare Sharon humiliation if he will agree to a private arbitration.

He points out the ruling will be fair and binding. Michael exits and wants him to think about it. Sharon appears and finds out Nikki Newman was just as unreasonable as Victor. Sharon does not want to be the reason he loses Christian. Nick says Brittany Hodges agreed they should do the arbitration.

Back over at Abbott’s place, Dina Mergeron asks Jack to remember for the both of them when she can’t remember anymore. He promises her he will and she hopes one day she can recall his father’s name. And that’s a wrap. Don’t forget to check often with Soap Opera Spy for all your soap needs.
