The Young and the Restless RECAP Thursday, April 26: Hilary Says She Is Her Own Worst Enemy

“The Young and the Restless” (YR) recap for Thursday, April 26, 2018, reveals that over at the Abbott house, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) texts Ravi Shapur (Abhi Sinha) and tells him to keep trying to restore the memory card. Kyle and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) both want to know why Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) quit interviewing Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). Abby tells them that she went increasingly to fantasy.

Jack wants them to have a screening of the documentary and Dina shows up ready to go to the club for her swimming lessons. They convince her to reschedule. Then Dina introduces ‘John’ to her new friend Kyle, and whispers to him that they don’t want John getting suspicious. Kyle starts to wonder if maybe Dina thinks he is Brent Davis. Jack admits that Dina had affairs but he’s just glad John never knew. Jack wants to live up to John, and wants to be a better father to Kyle. Kyle is dying to know what’s in the interview but Abby will not give up any information. Kyle receives a text from Ravi which is the restored video.

Mac Wants To Know Where J.T. is

At Victoria’s place, she has a surprise visitor which is Mackenzie Hellstrom (Kelly Kruger). Mackenzie is upset and says that her kids miss their father and wants to know where J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) is. Mackenzie brings up J.T. trying to kill Victor and knows things got bad. Victoria confides in her about the abuse she was receiving from J.T. Mackenzie says J.T. never hit her but knew the pattern. Mackenzie wants J.T. to be found and Victoria tells her that may not be possible.

Sharon Fills In Mariah on JT Abusing Victoria

Over at Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) watch Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) trying to track down J.T. Hellstrom. Sharon tries to stop him from going to his sister’s house. Mariah is confused and Sharon fills her in about J.T. abusing Victoria Newman.

Hilary Says She Is Her Own Worst Enemy

Out on the patio, Phyllis Summers (Gina Tognoni) congratulates Hilary Curtis (Mishael Morgan) on her great news. She asks about Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) reaction and Hilary tells her he acted ashamed of her and the baby. Phyllis advises her to give him time. Hilary wants to blame Simone (Shanica Knowles) for her troubles but admits she is her own worst enemy.

Mac Knows About JT’s Abuse

Inside, Mackenzie arrives and tells Nick and Sharon that Victoria opened up to her about J.T. abusing her. Nick wants to go to his sisters. Sharon warns Phyllis that Nick left to go to Victoria’s. Phyllis says she will handle it.

Hilary Threatens Not To Let Lily See The Baby

At Hamilton Winters, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Lily Ashby (Christel Khalil) question Devon Hamilton about the stunt that Hilary pulled. Devon does not want to discuss it and Neil will try to get him too. Devon is not in the mood to hear them bash Hilary. He exits. Lily says Devon wants to be a father but doesn’t want a baby with Hilary which is just her opinion. Lily bets he was hoping she didn’t get pregnant. Hilary walks in and Lily jumps right into accusations. Neil tells Lily not to fight and congratulates Hilary. Lily vows to make Devon see her for who she really is. Hilary threatens Lily with her not getting to see the baby. They continue to argue. Neil jumps in as Hilary lunges at Lily.

Jack Wonders What Is Wrong With Devon

Over at the club bar, Jack Abbott wonders what is going on with Devon Hamilton and why Devon isn’t happier. Devon does not want to talk about his issues with Hilary. Jack talks about his with Kyle and regrets the way things have been going. He advises Devon to put the work in from day one no matter how he feels about Hilary. Then, Devon talks to Mariah about the pregnancy.

Sharon Wants To Go To The Police

Nick Newman arrives at his sister’s place. She doesn’t want Nick to interfere and save her, but Nick vows he is going to find J.T. As he tries to get more information Phyllis Summers shows up claiming they have a girls’ night planned and he wasn’t invited. Nick leaves and Sharon arrives. Victoria realizes that they thought she would cave. Sharon wants to tell the police she feels it might be better in prison than living with the guilt. She leaves to get air.

At Chancellor Park, Sharon McAvoy stands over J.T. Hellstrom’s burial spot and Phyllis and Victoria appear. They are concerned about them looking suspicious and Sharon decides to go home.

Sharon Has Nightmares of JT

At Sharon’s house, Nick Newman questions Sharon about Phyllis and Victoria being friends. He is puzzled by it. He feels Sharon is off. She goes to bed and has a nightmare about J.T.’s hand popping up out of the ground. Nick comes in and wants her to talk about what is bothering her.

At Victoria’s, Phyllis vows to Victoria that she will not let Sharon blow this for the rest of them.

Kyle Learns Shocking News

Back over at the Abbott house, Jack Abbott interrupts Kyle Abbott as he is watching the restored video on his phone. Kyle stops it and turns down watching baseball with Jack. He then starts the video back and learns that Jack is not John’s son. And that’s a wrap.
