The Young and the Restless News: Jessica Collins Scores New Primetime Gig

The Young and the Restless has seen a lot of great actors come and go throughout the years, one face we will always miss in Genoa City is Jessica Collins’ popular character Avery Bailey.

Jessica Collins exited The Young and the Restless after a three year stint in 2015.  The talented soap star took some time off from acting after giving birth to her daughter Jemma in 2016.

Collins took to social media and announced that after three years she was getting back in the acting saddle, and booked an exciting new primetime gig.

The Y&R alum appeared in an episode of FOX’s hot new drama “9-1-1.”  The series has some heavy hitters on their cast, like Nashville’s Connie Britton.  Jessica’s episoed of “9-1-1” aired on Wednesday February 7, if you missed it you can watch the episode on the official FOX website.
