The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie & Thorne’s Engagement Ups Their Custody Game – Bill Enraged, Determined To Fight Harder

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that Katie (Heather Tom) and Thorne (Ingo Rademacher) will step up their game when it comes to fighting Bill (Don Diamont) for full custody of Will (Finnegan George). Katie’s been worried about the custody fight for some time, and for good reason. When Bill fights, he fights hard.

The one thing that really unnerves Katie is Bill’s threat to come after her for her past alcoholism. There was a time when Katie neglected Will due to her battle with alcohol. She knows that Bill will come after her and open those old wounds. Bill might argue that Katie could succumb to the bottle again at any time and pose a risk to Will.

What Katie really needs in this fight is the ability to prove that she’ll provide a stable, supportive household for Will going forward. And it looks like she’ll have her ace in the hole on that front. B&B spoilers say that Thorne will propose to Katie, and she’ll accept.

This means that Katie will be able to demonstrate that she can provide a loving environment with two responsible adults in the home – a far cry from what Bill could ever provide. Plus, Thorne is an upstanding member of society, so it would be tough for Bill to try to portray Thorne as any kind of risk to Will.

Bill will likely be enraged when he learns about “Thatie’s” engagement, and he’ll probably view it as a sneaky tactic on Katie’s part to win the custody dispute. But this is Bill we’re talking about, so he’s not about to back down. He’ll probably up his game in return.

If there were any doubt that Bill would play the Katie/alcoholism angle, that’s gone. Bill will probably now come after Katie with everything he’s got on that front. But he won’t stop there. He’s been working on Brooke (Katherine Kelly Lang) lately, and will likely use her to fight Katie. It would probably be compelling for Bill’s case if Katie’s own sister publicly sided with Bill.

At this point, Bill will probably push hard for Brooke to testify for him at the custody hearing. And he’ll likely try to go after Katie on the grounds that she had a serious relationship with Wyatt (Darin Brooks), her son’s own brother. But what else will Bill have up his sleeve?
