Here’s Why General Hospital’s Hayden Barnes Is Not Wiley’s Birth Mom!

Some General Hospital (GH) fans still insist that the original baby Wiley is Hayden (ex-Rebecca Budig) and Finn’s (Michael Easton) baby. Here is why that is biologically impossible.

Julian Knows Hayden

Has it slipped General Hospital fans minds that Jake Doe (Billy Miller) worked for Julian Jerome (William DeVry) when Hayden was pretending to be his wife? At the time, Julian was warning Jake away from Sam (Kelly Monaco). Julian saw Hayden with Jake Doe, he later saw her with Finn. Julian and Hayden lived in the same town for months. Why would Julian call Hayden and tell her he didn’t know her? Hayden does not fit this part of the equation.

Hayden Hates Brad

General Hospital’s Brad (Parry Shen) worked at the hospital with Hayden and Lucas (Ryan Carnes). Hayden knows the both of them. Why would Hayden need a complete history of two people she knows? Hayden is well aware of the animosity between Finn and Brad.

Hayden hates Brad over issues with Finn in the past. Hayden might have skipped town while pregnant with Finn’s baby, but there is no way she would allow Brad to raise that child. Hayden would not wish Brad on her worst enemy; she sure is not going to give him an innocent child. Hayden would honestly give her newborn child to her newfound sister Liz first.

Alexis Dated Finn, She Would Not Deny Him His Child

General Hospital’s Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) knows everything about the birth mother. Alexis would not arrange an adoption for Finn’s child. Alexis dated Finn, and she knows how much it hurt him for Hayden to leave. Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) is aware of the relationship as well and would not put Alexis in that position. Both ladies know about Finn’s addiction and his fight to get over it.

Hayden Was Several Months Pregnant When She Left

General Hospital’s Hayden found out she was pregnant in May 2017; she left town in September 2017. Hayden’s baby was due in November 2017. Wiley was born July 2018 making Hayden’s baby eight months old. Unless baby Finn was born months premature there is no possible was to pass that baby off as a newborn.

General Hospital may be a soap opera, but Hayden could have had this baby and been seven months pregnant with a second baby by the time Wiley was born. SORAS does not work in reverse; there is no way Hayden was that baby’s mom, that math does not work.
