General Hospital Star Dominic Zamprogna Joins New TV Show

General Hospital Star Dominic Zamprogna Joins New TV ShowGeneral Hospital spoilers confirm that Dominic Zamprogna has officially ended his GH run as Port Charles cop Dante Falconeri.

General Hospital fans were shocked when Zamprogna revealed earlier this month that he had quit the ABC soap opera.  This week Dante’s final scenes aired on General Hospital, he shared a sweet goodbye with his wife Lulu [Emme Rylan] before jetting off to join the WSB.

Dominic Zamprogna revealed in a recent Soap Opera Digest interview that he was getting antsy playing the same character for so long, and was simply ready to move on and spread his wings.

The General Hospital fan favorite also revealed that he is already filming his next TV show, a gritty drama called “Tin Star.”

The official synopsis for the series teases, “Set in the majestic Canadian Rockies, Tin Star tells the story of a former British detective who brings his family to the tiny, tranquil town of Little Big Bear for a better life. But when his small town is overrun by migrant workers from a massive new oil refinery, the wave of organized crime that follows them threatens to sweep away everything in its wake and dig up the past.”

Tin Star is a British – Canadian series and airs in the UK and in Ireland.  However, it has become popular in the US because the entire first season is now available to binge on Amazon Prime.  So, if you are unable to watch Dominic on Tin Star when his episodes air, you can eventually see them on Amazon when Season 2 is added.

Tin Star On Amazon Prime is available for your viewing pleasure!
