General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, May 2 – Sam Surprises Jason with Divorce News – Dr. Bensch Tightens His Grip – Sonny’s Fears Grow

“General Hospital” spoilers for Wednesday, May 2, tease that Ava (Maura West) and Griffin (Matt Cohen) will have a fierce fight. Ava did what she had to do to get custody of Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola), but Griffin doesn’t approve her tactics. He’ll lash out at Ava for using Mike’s (Max Gail) predicament to blackmail Sonny (Maurice Benard).

Ava will insist that she dropped the charges, but that won’t matter much to Griffin. He’ll remind Ava that Mike’s innocent in all this. His Alzheimer’s was to blame for Avery’s disappearance, so Griffin will think Ava’s actions were completely uncalled for. However, Ava wouldn’t have had to play dirty if it weren’t for Sonny. He left her with no choice, so he shares some responsibility here.

Unfortunately, Griffin won’t have the same perspective. He’ll continue to berate Ava as she attempts to defend herself. At GH, Kiki (Haley Erin) will face more trouble from Dr. Bensch (James DePaiva). He’ll announce that he wants to request another shadowing tour with her, so Kiki will naturally be against the idea.

Of course, the disturbing doc will do whatever he can to intimidate Kiki and dismiss her wishes. Over with Finn (Michael Easton) and Chase (Josh Swickard), they’ll remain at odds. “General Hospital” spoilers say Finn will push his half-brother to butt out of his life, so Chase will give him what he wants. It looks like these two won’t be patching things up anytime soon.

Elsewhere, Sam (Kelly Monaco) will fill Jason (Steve Burton) in on her impending divorce from Drew (Billy Miller). Jason may wonder what this means, but it’s doubtful Sam will know just yet. She’s ending her marriage, but she’ll probably need a bit more time to sort through her feelings. Still, this certainly gives “JaSam” fans some hope!

Across town, Anna (Finola Hughes) will plan on staying one step ahead of Jason. She’ll tell Robert (Tristan Rogers) her intentions and do her best to keep Heinrik out of harm’s way. Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) will fret about Carly’s (Laura Wright) future. He’ll realize her mental health could be one of his biggest problems right now, so he’ll want to get a grip on this ASAP.

Other “General Hospital” spoilers say Carly will battle fears as well. She’ll cry as she tells Lucy (Lynn Herring) about her latest struggles. Thanks to Nelle (Chloe Lanier), Carly feels like she’s losing her mind. Her situation’s only going to get worse in the coming weeks, so don’t miss all the shockers ahead.
