General Hospital Recap November 5: Spencer Blasts Ryan and Ava

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, November 5, 2018 reveals, Carly (Laura Wright) shows up at Jason’s (Steve Burton) to talk. Carly tells him that what happened last night was horrible.

Jason Offers To Investigate Ferncliff

Jason tells Carly that he tried to call her, he couldn’t check on her because he had the boys. Carly tells Jason about seeing Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune) at Ferncliff. Carly tells Jason about saying she regretted not killing Mary Pat. Jason asks who all heard what Carly said, she tells him she said it and told the cops that. Jason tells Carly he would have stonewalled, but maybe Carly made it easier for the cops by cooperating.

Carly tells Jason about her motivation while in Ferncliff. Carly tells him she’s having nightmares about Mary Pat. Carly tells Jason there is a mystery locked up in Ferncliff and she wants to solve it. Carly asks Jason if he remembers the patient next door. Jason asks if she found something when she went back to Ferncliff. Carly tells Jason they have someone or something to hide. Carly tells Jason she thought she saw the guy once, but she has to find answers. Carly wants to go to Ferncliff to find out what happened to the patient, Jason offers to go for her.

Jordan And Curtis Speculate On A Killer

General Hospital’s Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) is on the phone with the M.E. she needs a time of death for Mary Pat. Curtis (Donnell Turner) shows up with stuff for the wedding planner. Jordan tells Curtis both Carly and Sonny (Maurice Benard) had a motive. Curtis tells Jordan that he met Mary Pat and got a bad vibe from her. Curtis says he met her when he and Sam (Kelly Monaco) went to Ferncliff.

Curtis tries to leave, Jordan stops him. The M.E.’s report comes in and is downloading, Jordan hands it to Curtis. Mary Pat was killed instantly by a hook to her heart. Jordan and Curtis speculate who could have severed the head from Mary Pat.

Ryan Pays A Visit To Ava

General Hospital’s Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) shows up at Ava’s (Maura West) gallery, and she almost knocks him out. Ryan tells Ava he heard what happened and is there to check on her. Ryan has Ava to set down, and they talk. Ava tells Ryan how the cops treated her. Ava talks about calling her lawyer, he assures her she doesn’t need to, he doesn’t believe she killed anyone. Ava says the murder was sadistic. Ryan tells Ava he knows she didn’t do this. Ava tells him she has a rap sheet and people blame her for a lot of things she didn’t do. Ava thanks “Kevin” (Jon Lindstrom) for being there for her, he wishes he had been there when she discovered the body. Ava wants to get out of the gallery. Ava asks if they are blurring lines by going out together, he says some lines need to be blurred. Ava asks Ryan if Mary Pat was a friend, he tells her no, but he did see her hours before she died.

Spencer Tampers With The Election

General Hospital’s Spencer (Nicholas Bechtel) encourages Laura (Genie Frances) in the mayoral election. Lulu (Emme Rylan) shows up with buttons for Laura’s campaign. Laura isn’t sure she wants to run for mayor. Lulu asks Spencer to leave the room. Lulu thinks Laura is upset over last night. Laura tells Lulu that Kevin left her. Spencer listens in on Laura and Lulu’s conversation.

Lulu blames Kevin for the problem. Lulu tells Laura to get upstairs and get ready to get her name on that ballot. Spencer and Lulu encourage Laura to get ready to go out. Spencer gets on the computer while Lulu and Laura go upstairs. Lulu asks about the exit polls; Spencer wants to go with Laura and Lulu. Laura, Lulu, and Spencer go to Charlie’s and find “Kevin” there with Ava. Ava tells him he should join his wife, he declines. Laura leaves to wait on Spencer outside. Spencer tells “Kevin” he had him fooled, he has no loyalty and no soul. Spencer tells “Kevin” that he and Ava deserve each other. Spencer tampers with the voting machine while Laura isn’t looking.

Sonny Attempts To Make A Deal With Margaux

General Hospital’s Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) is at the Floating Rib recording a statement on her phone. Sonny walks in and asks if he should be offended by her not returning his calls. Margaux asks if Sonny is there to confess. Sonny has nothing to confess to, he and Carly hated Mary Pat, but he didn’t kill her. Sonny questions why Margaux is investigating the crime herself. Margaux understands that Carly made the discovery.

Margaux assures Sonny she will get the person who did this, she always gets the bad guy no matter how long it takes. Margaux tells Sonny if he’s worried about her prosecuting him, not to, she’s still coming for him. Sonny tells Margaux what he needs to talk to her about has nothing to do with him, it has to do with her, her mother and her father. Sonny asks who told Margaux her father’s death was mob related. Margaux tells Sonny she knows how it works, he had to earn his stripes, so he killed her father.

Sonny tells Margaux if she keeps pushing, she will get hurt. Margaux tells Sonny that threatening a public official is a felony. Sonny tells Margaux if she keeps pushing, her world will turn upside down. Sonny tells Margaux she has no idea what she will find, but he does. Margaux refuses to listen to Sonny. Sonny tells Margaux he didn’t know her when they met, but he knew her mother.

Sonny tells Margaux about her mother visiting Scully (Robert Miano). Margaux starts to slap Sonny, but he stops her. Sonny says it didn’t make sense at the time, but now it does. Sonny tells Margaux her mother is a widow because she wanted to be. Margaux accuses Sonny of lying; he tells her mother wanted her father dead, and he can prove it.
