General Hospital RECAP Monday, July 16: Bobbie Warns Ava Her Time Is Coming

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, July 16, 2018 reveals, Ned (Wally Kurth) is performing Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Michael’s (Chad Duell) wedding ceremony. Ned asks for objections, Carly (Laura Wright) burst in and says her son will not be getting married today.

Carly Tries To Stop The Wedding

Carly tries to convince Michael that he cannot marry Nelle. Jason (Steve Burton) tries to control Carly but it doesn’t work. Michael tells Carly that he loves her but she’s cannot stop him from marrying Nelle. Chase (Josh Swickard) comes to arrest Carly, it’s already been called in, the camera pans to Ava (Maura West). Carly points out that Nelle had help, Griffin looks at Ava.

Griffin questions why Carly looked at Ava when she made that parting shot. Griffin believes Ava was avoiding him because of it. Griffin and Ava meet at the bar and discuss Carly’s situation. Ava acts like she doesn’t know how the writing could have disappeared. Ava orders another drink, Griffin wants to call it a night. Ava begins to kiss Griffin and they leave together.

Bobbie Issues Ava A Warning

General Hospital’s Bobbie (Jackie Zeman) tells Ava that she wasted no time calling the police. Bobbie tells Ava that she saw her at Nelle’s shower. Ava asks Bobbie is she’s the only person living in reality. Bobbie tells Ava this will come back to bite her and she wants a front role seat.

General Hospital’s Joss (Eden McCoy) realizes that Carly doesn’t seem crazy and how much trouble she can get in for being here. Oscar (Garren Stitt) suggests maybe Ferncliff is helping Carly. Joss insists Carly is nothing like she was at the shower.

Hospital Ceremony

General Hospital’s Ava wants them to get on with the wedding, Bobbie tries to talk Michael out of it. Nelle has stomach cramps and Michael and Lucas take her to the hospital. Nelle wants to see Michael and tells him they need to finish what they started. Nelle says if they don’t get married tonight Carly wins. Francesca (Celest DeAstis) tries to tell Michael she can’t have him upsetting Nelle. Lucas (Ryan Carnes) comes in and Michael agrees to get married here and now.

Michael calls Ned to finish the ceremony, Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) refuses to go. Ned shows up at the hospital with Joss, Jason arrives with Chase. Chase leaves as the ceremony begins. Jason gives Ned the rings and he finishes the ceremony. Ned pronounces Michael and Ned man and wife. Ned signs the marriage license with a pen Jason gives him and Joss snaps a picture. Nelle thanks Ned for all his help. Michael tells Ned to have a good night, Francesca runs everyone out of Nelle’s room. Michael leaves Nelle in the hospital as well. Joss tells Michael she needs to tell him about Nelle and Chase. Michael tells Joss he’s not worried about Nelle and Chase, he has everything under control.

Sonny Plans To Save Carly

General Hospital’s Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason accompany Carly to the PCPD and find out that Carly drugged Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune). Carly tells Jason and Sonny that Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) prescribed the dosage of the sedative so there are no lasting effects. Jordan tells everyone that Nelle was taken to the hospital. Michael calls Jason to the hospital and tells him about the wedding, Carly wants him to stop it. Sonny tells Carly that she shouldn’t have done this, she has made things much worse.

Sonny tells Carly that Michael has a plan and wants to know what she was thinking. Carly says letting Michael marry a murderer won’t help. Carly asks Sonny what the worst moment of his life was, Sonny tells her when Morgan (Bryan Craig) died. Carly tells Sonny that was the worst pain she ever felt too and she will not go through that pain again. Sonny can’t say that he would have done anything differently and now Carly has to go back to Ferncliff and they have no idea for how long.

Sonny tells Carly he will do what he can to get her out of this. Carly is remanded back to Ferncliff and is escorted back by an officer. Sonny promises to do whatever it takes to save Michael. Jason shows back up at the PCPD, he’s afraid of Mary Pat’s reaction. Sonny tells Jason he should have known something was up with Carly. Rupert scolds Carly for breaking out, she tells him Sonny will be disappointed if he can’t get in and ask how this is going to go. Sonny vows to get Carly freed and he calls Diane, Jason calls Spinelli. Carly tells Rupert that Sonny always pays his debts. Rupert tells Carly that Mary Pat never liked her in the first place, and she likes her less now. Rupert wants to know why Carly escaped, she tells him to save her child.

Sam And Drew Take Mike Home

General Hospital’s Sam (Kelly Monaco) offered to take care of Mike (Max Gail), Drew (Billy Miller) accompanies her to take him home. Sam, Mike, and Drew get to Sonny’s house. Mike wants to know how Sam and Drew met. Drew tells Mike that he and Sam used to be married. Mike does up to bed as Sam and Drew have their drink. Sam tells Drew Mike is right, all people can do is follow their hearts. Sam tells about falling in love because you won’t get hurt, it would be a disaster. Sam tells Drew she doesn’t forget the time they spend together and never will.

Brad Has Baby News

General Hospital’s Bobbie and Lulu (Emme Rylan) are discussing Nelle not going through with the wedding. Ava comes up and wants to know if Brad (Parry Shen) has heard from Nelle. Brad tries to tell Bobbie and Lulu that Nelle really loves Michael. Brad gets a call and goes to the hospital to tells Lucas he got a call about the baby. Brad tells Lucas that the birth mother had her final checkup and she and their baby is fine. Ned goes back and joins Lulu and Olivia and they discuss the wedding and parenthood. Olivia toasts Nelle and Michael, Ned has to file the papers tomorrow.

Chase Continues With His Plan

Chase comes in and talks to Nelle. Nelle tells Chase he was wrong, Michael wanted to get married as much as he did. Chase tells Nelle that if Michael loved her, he wouldn’t have left her alone tonight. Nelle tries to slap Chase, he grabs her arm and tells her congratulations.
