General Hospital RECAP Friday, May 25 Maxie Wants Lulu’s Help To Bring Down Peter

“General Hospital” (GH) recap for Friday, May 25, 2018, reveals Robert (Tristan Rogers) and Anna (Finola Hughes) talk about telling Robin (Kimberly McCullough) about Heinrik (Wes Ramsey).

You told Heinrik Because You Wanted To

Anna doesn’t expect Robin to forgive her, Robert wants to know what happened to their deal. Anna tells Robert she had to tell Heinrik the truth or Jason or kill him. Robert tells Anna she told Heinrik because she wanted to.

Meet James Malcolm West

General Hospital’s Mac (John J York) and Felicia (Kristina Wagner) show up to see Maxie (Kirsten Storm) at the hospital and she tells them about the baby’s delivery. Mac and Felicia want to shake Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) hand, Maxie tells them he is Heinrik. Maxie tells Mac and Felicia she was in the wrong place at the wrong time and Peter could have gone to the police. Maxie questions if Peter was thinking better you than me when Nathan was shot. Felicia tells Maxie she needs to focus on the baby, she and Mac want to meet him. Maxie, Mac and Felicia go to the NICU, his name is James Malcom West.

Nathan Would Have Been Ashamed Of You

General Hospital’s Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) is questioning Peter at the PCPD about why he stayed in town. Dante calls him on manipulating Lulu (Emme Rylan) and using Maxie. Dante tells Heinrik that he played Lulu and ask who else was on his list to use Maxie. Dante says he used Nathan, Heinrik claims he didn’t mean for his brother to get hurt. Dante tells Heinrik not to call Nathan (Ryan Paevey) his brother again. Dante tells Heinrik that Nathan would have been there beside him and helped take Faison (Anders Hove) down. Dante tells Heinrik Nathan would have been ashamed of him because he’s a coward.

Leave While Your Daughter Still Loves You

General Hospital’s Nina (Michelle Stafford) is talking to Lulu, she wants to know how Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) is this morning. Lulu can see what Charlotte loves Nina so much, she’s lucky to have her. Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) shows up at Lulu’s. Nina wants Charlotte to stay with Lulu for now and tells Valentin so. Valentin and Nina talk, he couldn’t betray Peter by warning Nathan.

Valentin blames himself for turning Heinrik over to Faison. Nina is furious that Valentin or Peter never warned anyone. Nina tells Valentin he lies all the time, he says Charlotte would have been with him if he knew Faison was coming to town. Valentin wants Nina to go home with him and to be a family. Nina tells Valentin she is done. Nina begs Valentin to leave while Charlotte still loves him and before he breaks her heart too.

Carly Doesn’t Like The Insanity Plea Idea

General Hospital’s Carly (Laura Wright) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) she refuses to use the insanity defense because she isn’t crazy. Carly argues that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) is lying, Jason (Steve Burton) will find the evidence to support her argument. Diane tells Carly all the witnesses are on Nelle’s side. Sonny wants to know how pleading insanity helps, Diane explains it’s that or face prison. Carly wants to call Jason because he believes her.

Sonny says he believes in her but Jason can’t be with her in Pentonville. Diane tells Carly that she can prove irrational behavior, and Carly’s rant seems to support that. Sonny wants to know how they would spin this story. Diane tells Carly to make the pleas as she advised and hopefully regain her freedom in a matter of months. Carly refuses to give Nelle what she wants. Sonny and Diane have no proof of her innocence, and Carly needs to consider her husband because the D.A will see it as putting Sonny’s wife in prison. Carly hates it but seems to give in.

Nelle And Brad Talk About Carly’s “Break”

General Hospital’s Brad (Parry Shen) brings Nelle flowers, they talk about Carly. Brad and Nelle talk about their kids playing together Lucas (Ryan Carnes) is afraid of jinxing their adoption. Nelle tells Brad everything has worked out exactly as she planned. Brad leave Nelle waiting for Michael (Chad Duell). Brad can’t believe Carly did this, Nelle says she didn’t throw herself down the stairs.

Anna Refuses To Cooperate

General Hospital’s Anna and Robert show up at the PCPD, she wants to talk to Heinrik, he is not pleased to see her. Heinrik tells Anna his idea of what happened with her and Faison. Anna tells Heinrik that she wanted to protect him from Faison. Anna asked for Heinrik to be taken away immediately, she didn’t even know the baby was a boy. Anna convinced herself the baby would be safe away from her and Faison. Heinrik tells Anna she left him with a monster, she tells him no, that was Valentin.

Heinrik doesn’t believe Anna so she explains how Valentin followed her to Brussels and took him from his family. Anna tells Heinrik that Valentin befriended him because he saw the error of what he had done. Heinrik says Anna was only protecting herself, and brings up Robin. Anna says she couldn’t protect either of her kids from Faison and she refuses to testify against Heinrik. Robert and Dante are visibly annoyed with Anna. Anna argues that the judge will believe her over Jason but Heinrik is her son, she condemned him once and won’t do it again. Heinrik tells Robert and Dante this will change when they hear what he has to offer.

Maxie Needs Lulu’s Help
General Hospital’s Lulu stops by the hospital to see that baby and congratulate Maxie. Lulu swears she didn’t know the truth about Heinrik. Lulu apologizes to Maxie and says she should have listened to her and Nathan. Maxie was angry and hurt, Peter is responsible for what happened to Nathan, not her. Maxie tells Lulu what happened at Crimson that night. Lulu wants to know what she can do for Maxie. Maxie is going to need Lulu’s help with something.
