General Hospital RECAP Friday, June 22: Sam And Curtis Busted, Mike’s Mysterious Clue

“General Hospital” (GH) recap for Friday, June 22, 2018, Jason (Steve Burton) is looking in Carly’s (Laura Wright) window, they touch the glass with their palms, Rupert shows up with dinner, Carly grabs the bottom on to cause him to drop them in order to get time with Jason.

Jason Knows How Trapped Carly Feels

Jason tells Carly not to do this again, she needs to walk away free. Jason tries to convince Carly that she needs to play along so that Mary-Pat (Patricia Bethune) doesn’t target her. Carly tells Jason that strategically she should tell him to quit.

Jason tells Carly that Mary-Pat would have recognized him at the interview if she was going to. Carly wants Jason to keep working there. Jason assures Carly that he and Sonny will get her out. Carly tells Jason that she feels trapped, he tells her he knows how she feels, it took him months to escape in Russia.

Jason tells Carly that every day gets her closer to home and she has to do this for her family. Rupert comes back and won’t bring Carly another tray. Somebody is screaming in the room next to Carly, Jason starts to check it out, Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) stops him.

Mike Tries To Remember Charlie

General Hospital’s Mike (Max Gail) tells Sonny (Maurice Benard) he remembers Charlie from when he was about eighteen. Sonny thinks Mike is mistaking Charlie for someone else. Mike thinks Sonny is treating him like an invalid.

Sonny introduces Mike to Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) when she comes into the bar, they were just having a squabble. Sonny sends Mike to get coffee and tells Margaux if she wants to ask him something, to ask and leave Mike out of it.

Margaux accuses Sonny of being in organized crime, he tells her to prove it, no one else has. Sonny tells Margaux she comes at him through people like his wife. Sonny tells Margaux that she wanted a high-profile case, she got what she wanted.

Margaux tells Sonny that Carly pushed Nelle down the stairs, he disagrees. Margaux admits to making an example of Carly, Sonny asks who she’s lying to him or herself.

Mike asks who that woman was again, Sonny tells him no one to worry about. Sonny apologizes to Mike and they agree to meet outside. Sonny goes outside and calls Max, he needs Charlie Delaney checked into.

Sam And Curtis Get Caught

General Hospital’s Sam (Kelly Monaco) nor Curtis (Donnell Turner) have found anything on Peter (Wes Ramsey). Either Peter got away clean or he’s hiding in Port Charles and somebody is helping him. Sam and Curtis still believe that Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is helping Peter, he is his only ally.

Sam feels that something went wrong after Peter escaped, they need to search his room. Sam and Curtis show up to search Peter’s old room, someone else has already rented it. Sam and Curtis are trying to search the room when caught by Margaux.

Valentin Tries To Blackmail Nina

General Hospital’s Valentin has Nina’s (Michele Stafford) office set up like Morocco, he hopes this reminds her they can’t live without each other. Nina is furious at Valentin, she is his future he says, she doesn’t agree. Nina tells Valentin she doesn’t love him anymore.

Valentin was trying to undermine her the whole time. Love to Nina means trust and honesty, she doesn’t know what it means to Valentin. Nina tells Valentin that Morocco just reminds her that she shouldn’t have given their marriage another chance.

Nina tells Valentin that Nathan (Ryan Paevey) is dead because of him and she’s had to take justice into her own hands. Valentin knows Nina is hiding something from him and offers to help if she needs it. Nina doesn’t need to be saved and if she did she will save herself. Valentin brings up Cassandra and Nina believes he’s trying to blackmail her.

Julian Agrees To More Sessions

General Hospital’s Julian (William DeVry) shows up to go to therapy with Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she wants to do it now. Alexis goes to let Kevin know Julian is there. Lucas (Ryan Carnes) questions it, Julian says he’s doing Alexis a favor, hopefully, she will reciprocate. Lucas doesn’t want to know, they discuss Alexis handing the adoption.

Julian and Alexis join Kevin in his office. Kevin suggests Alexis explain to Julian why he is there. Kevin wants to know if Alexis ever says her father run from love. Alexis says she is pulled toward a love that could get her killed. Julian doesn’t understand how he fits into his.

Julian says that fits Sonny and Ric (Rick Hearst) but not him, Alexis disagrees. Alexis tells Kevin what Julian did. Julian says this is a mistake, he’s not spending 45 minutes being raked over the coals. Julian tells Alexis they don’t need a psychiatrist to play referee, he wants to leave Alexis asks him to stay.

Kevin wants to know what drew Julian to Alexis, not when they conceived Sam but when he came back to town. Julian said he wanted redemption with Alexis, that’s what he saw in her. Julian saw a lot of good in Alexis, he thought she was strong enough to handle him. Julian never thought he could be a good man, but a better man with Alexis.

Julian fell in love with the idea of what he could be. Julian thinks there might be a psychological reason for this, at that point in his life he was begging to be redeemed. Julian wished he and Alexis could have achieved redemption with each other. Julian agrees to go to more sessions with Alexis, they owe It to each other. Alexis tells Julian if she can help him, don’t hesitate to ask.

Brad Reassures Lucas

General Hospital’s Brad (Parry Shen)and Lucas, meanwhile, look in at the nursery, the worry is keeping Lucas up at night, he’s afraid they will lose the baby. Lucas wants to know why they are not discussing baby names, Brad just looks at him. Brad explains they have just been busy and will pick out names soon.

Brad assures Lucas that Alexis will take good care of them and make sure they get the baby. Brad is confident things will be ok, Lucas says it helps. Brad promises Lucas they will bring the baby home and nothing is going to stop them.
