General Hospital: Kristen Alderson Hints At Port Charles Comeback

Could it be that we might be seeing yet another beauty return to Port Charles in the coming weeks? According to news reports, actress Kristen Alderson has made it no secret that she would love to return to General Hospital to reprise her role as Starr Manning.

Kristen, who earned a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress back I n2013, would love to return to Port Charles to shake up things with more than just a little drama. As many soap fans can remember, Kirsten was cast as Kiki Jerome during a time when ABC no longer had the rights to the One Life to Live characters that had crossed over to General Hospital.

“It would be wonderful to have Starr come back,” Alderson expressed to Soaps In Depth. “Especially because the relationship with Michael [didn’t play out]. She just broke up with him over the phone, so that would be kind of interesting!”

For Kristen, it was difficult to initially say goodbye to a character that she had portrayed since she was 6 years old. That’s why she has been reminiscing about good times and even hinting that she would love to come back on the show.

“I had my first kiss on television,” she recalled. “It was with Connor Paolo — Starr and Travis had run away and we were shooting on location in Central Park. That was so exciting!”
