Days Of Our Lives RECAP Thursday, June 21: Kayla’s Shock Discovery, Victor Hires Chad

“Days Of Our Lives” (DOOL) recap for Monday, June 18, 2018, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) is going through Kate’s (Lauren Koslow) mail while on the phone with Stefan (Tyler Christopher).

Kayla Discover’s Ted’s Identity

Stefan tells Kayla to look harder if she wants Steve to see again Steve walks up behind Stefan and confronts him. Kate walks in and catches Kayla going through her room. Steve tells Stefan he would rather stay blind than to be indebted to him.

Stefan questions if Kayla feels the same. Kayla has a budget approval with her and tries to cover. Kate wants to know if Kayla has spoken to Stefan about the bionic eye. Kate tells Kayla sometimes we have to work around the men in our lives.

Kate hopes that Kayla helps Steve see the light about his condition. Stefan tells Steve he should swallow his pride and ask for what he needs. Stefan tells Kayla what Steve told her. Kayla repeats what Steve said and Stefan watches her squirm.

Stefan texts Kayla to make things worse, she lies and tells Steve its someone else. Justin (Wally Kurth) walks up to Steve and Kayla, and Ted (Gilles Marini) walks by and speaks to them. Kayla makes the connection between Ted and Kate.

Justin tells Steve and Kayla he thinks someone else is pulling the strings. Kayla excuses herself to call Seth, she tells Steve. Steve questions if Kayla is already, she says yes and she loves him. Kayla calls Stefan, she’s calling to give him information, she knows who Kate’s mystery man is.

Victor Hires Chad

Days Of Our Lives’ Victor (John Aniston) overhears Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Chad’s (Billy Flynn) conversation and says when hell freezes over. Sonny tells Victor he was just listening to Chad’s plan. Victor doesn’t want to hear Chad’s idea.

Victor has offered Leo (Greg Rikaart) a settlement. Sonny wants Victor to call Justin and resend the offer. Chad tells Victor that it’s his mission to destroy Stefan and Dimera. Chad asks Victor to let him help destroy Dimera like he always wanted.

Victor tells Chad he would sink Titan like he did Dimera. Chad tells Victor that Stefan raped his wife and that is personal. Chad wants to take down Stefan and then he will hand Titan back over to Sonny, it’s up to Victor is Titan benefits or not. Victor hires Chad as CEO.

Ciara Doesn’t Want To Come Home

Days Of Our Lives’ Ciara (Victoria Konefal) calls Hope (Kristian Alfonso) who wants to know if she’s alright. Ciara hesitates before saying she is alright. Hope wants to go get her, Ciara apologizes and won’t tell her where she is.

Ciara tells Hope she’s not ready to come home, she’s using a burner phone. Ciara says she has wrecked everything just like she wrecked the bike. Hope knows Ciara is hurt and in pain, everything will get better.

Hope begs Ciara to tell her where she is, she and Rafe (Galin Gering) are on the way. Hope tells Ciara that she needs to see that she is alright. Ciara hasn’t been alright since what happened with Chase and she needs time to figure it out. Rafe takes the phone and talks to Ciara.

Rafe tells Ciara they are really worried, he asks if there is someone with her. Hope takes the phone and wants to know if a man is holding Ciara against her will. Ciara tells Hope no, the man saved her life, she needs some time but loves her and hands up the phone.

Hope is upset, what if Ciara can’t trust this guy, they have to find her, Rafe wants to concentrate on the positive. Rafe is going over the accident photos when Justin walks in. Rafe fills Justin in on Ciara, he has news about Gabi.

Ben Vows To Protect Ciara

Days Of Our Lives’ Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) comes in from outside and changes shirts in front of Ciara, he apologies, he didn’t mean to make her feel uncomfortable. Ben was trying to clean the cabin but it doesn’t work.

Ciara understands, every morning you wake up thinking what if you could change things but you can’t. Ciara tells Ben you have to accept it and try and find a way to move on, she starts to touch his face and he pulls away. Ben pours Ciara a drink but she’s fallen asleep. Ben tells Ciara she’s safe there and no one will hurt her.

Ted And Leo Demand More Money

Days of Our Lives’ Justin and Ted, Leo’s lawyer meet to discuss the settlement offer. Justin tells Ted that Victor made this decision, not Sonny. Ted wants more money and Justin asks who put him up to this. Justin tells Ted he knows Vivian approached Leo about this before. Ted says Leo turned Vivian down, Justin believes someone else took over where she left off.

Kate Learns About Chad’s New Job

Days Of Our Lives’ Ted goes to Kate’s room and tells her about the offer. Kate is going to keep this up until Titan stock hits rock bottom. Ted starts to kiss Kate and she slaps him.

Ted points out that Kate is always the boss. Kate’s mission is to acquire Titan then she never has to fear another man again. Ted hopes Kate knows she doesn’t have to fear him. Kate wants Titan and Ted is going to give it to her. Chad informs Kate he is the new CEO of Titan.
