General Hospital RECAP Tuesday August 7: Margaux Plans To Charge Nelle, Carly Gets The Last Word

On today’s General Hospital Recap Tuesday, August 7, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gets another obscene call, four for the day.

Alexis Wonders If Sam Help With Carly’s Escape

Kiki (Hayley Erin) has had six already.  Kiki promises Alexis that she and Griffin (Matt Cohen) are just friends, nothing happened between them. Kiki tells Alexis she has to get back to work.  Alexis says they are in this together.

Kiki asks about Michael (Chad Duell) and tells Sam (Kelly Monaco) to let him know she asked about him.  Sam tells Alexis about the baby.  Sam tells Alexis that Carly’s (Laura Wright) situation just got better.  Sam wants Alexis to call Kristina and tell her about Michael’s baby.

Alexis wants to know if Sam helped break Carly out.  Sam tells Alexis she didn’t have anything to do with it.  Alexis says only because Jason (Steve Burton) didn’t ask, Sam ask if she’s ready to order.

Griffin Tells Ava He Loves Her

General Hospital’s Griffin is reliving his conversation with Ava (Maura West).  Ava comes to Griffin’s office and tells him about seeing Scott (Kin Shriner) and Bensch (James DePaiva).  Ava says seeing Kiki still pushing forward makes her so proud.

Ava tells Griffin she and Kiki are both lucky to have him.  Griffin tells Ava he loves her and is afraid of losing her. Ava and Griffin still have things to work out but agree to talk after the trial.  Ava feels better knowing that Griffin loves her. Ava offers to go get food and bring back to him.

Griffin tells Kiki that he has to tell Ava that he cheated on her.  Kiki tells Griffin that he doesn’t have a true understanding of her mother.  Kiki advises him that telling the truth will cost him Ava and make her his enemy.

Jason Shows Margaux The Forged Consent Form

General Hospital’s Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) meets with Jason, he has evidence she needs to see. Jason tells Margaux that Carly didn’t sign the shock treatment paper.  Jason points out that the consent was signed when Carly wasn’t there.

Margaux tells Jason this doesn’t justify breaking Carly out of Ferncliff.  Jason points out that Carly was strapped to a table with electrodes attached when he got there.  If Jason had waited Carly could be a vegetable.  Jason tells Margaux that he could be out of the country.

Margaux tells Jason he is basically turning himself in by talking to her.  Jason says he will go to the PCPD with Margaux even if it means prison time. Sonny tells Margaux that Diane just asked to have the verdict vacated.

Michael walks in and Carly tells him she has to go to Shadybrook.  Michael says he thinks he can help with that and drops the blanket on the desk. Carly asks where Michael found the blanket.  Carly tells them that is the blanket that she and Nelle (Chloe Lanier) were fighting over.

Chase (Josh Swickard) tells Margaux that is the blanket Carly described.  Margaux believes someone in Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) family planted the blanket.  Chase advises Margaux to cut her losses and turn Carly loose.

Sonny Tells Chase A Baby’s Death Is Hard To Bare

General Hospital’s Sonny threatens to go to the media over Carly.  Chase asks how Michael is doing.  Chase apologizes about the baby and tells Sonny it was his fault. Jordan tells Sonny not to go to the media and asks Chase to watch him.  Chase says this would have worked if it weren’t for the prison van.

Sonny tells Jason it led to something unintended but it wasn’t his fault. Sonny tells Chase everything comes at a cost, no one could have imagined what happened.  The baby’s death is a heavy burden to handle.

Carly And Nelle Have A Final Showdown

General Hospital’s Carly sneaks into the PCPD to see Nelle one last time.  Carly tells Nelle, “I win”.   Nelle tells Carly this stunt will lengthen her sentence.  Carly says Nelle is screwed and it couldn’t happen to a better gal.

Carly says Nelle got her there, it’s on her that she fell for his act.  Carly tells Nelle she’s a sociopath with no redeeming qualities.  Carly doesn’t owe her a damn thing, blame Frank.  Carly tells Nelle she’s about to be released.  Nelle’s entire story is about to be thrown out of court.  Carly tells Nelle she thought she was taking on her but took on the whole family.

Bobbie (Jackie Zeman), Jocelyn (Eden McCoy), Michael, Sonny, Jason, you messed with the wrong family. Carly tells Nelle she at least achieved her goal.  Carly says she has grown and learned and changed.  Carly tells Nelle, love, is wasted on her and she doesn’t have a soul.

Carly tells Nelle that manipulating Jocelyn was where she crossed the line.  Carly wants to know if Nelle remembers being a teenager.  Jocelyn didn’t need Nelle’s brand of a psycho but Jocelyn took her down.  Carly says we have established that no one will ever love her.  Nelle argues that Michael loved her.

Carly tells Nelle that she still has Sonny to contend with.  Nelle tells Carly there is a hell of a lot she doesn’t know.  Carly tells Nelle that she doesn’t care about her.  Nelle is a non-factor in her life.

Carly Turns Herself In

General Hospital’s Carly walks out of the interrogation room and Margaux offers to talk to the judge about Shadybrook.  Margaux says she has Nelle on so many counts the blanket is practically meaningless.  Carly assures Margaux it’s not meaningless to her. Nelle is pulled out kicking and screaming.

Michael offers to make some calls to get Nelle mercy for the baby.  After that Nelle is nothing to him.  Nelle screams that she hates Carly and this is all her fault.  Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) asks if this is the blanket.  Margaux threatens to have Jason arrested.  Sonny argues against it.

Sonny pulls Michael to the side and tells him to go home and rest.  Sonny tells Michael he loves him and sends him out the door.  Sonny wants to know if Margaux feels good about herself.  Margaux tells Sonny he’s the real problem.  Sonny invites Margaux to come and get him, she says she will.  Carly and Jason have no regrets, she hopes they get adjoining cells.

Scott Tries To Warn Ava

General Hospital’s Scott suggests Bensch settle, he refuses.  Scott vows to do everything in his power to win. Scott talks to Ava about the trial.  Scott tells Ava that he cannot control what is said on the stand.
