The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Hilary On The Prowl – Still Hope For Romance With Jordan Or Devon?

Hilary (Mishael Morgan) knows that her approach didn’t work on ‘The Young and the Restless’. After Devon (Bryton James) left her she went to Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood), but that relationship also fell apart. But now that he’s with Lily (Christel Khalil) another tact must be taken if she wants to secure love.

It’s challenging to break a perception once it’s been established. That’s the problem Hilary faces right now.

The word perception was used in the last paragraph, rather than reputation, for a reason. A reputation implies that a person is solely responsible for how other people respond. That’s not true for the former Mrs. Hamilton, or for anyone. All receivers hold varying percentages of weight in every human connection.

Jordan was instantly drawn to Hilary, but he waited until ‘Hevon’ separated until officially making a move toward her. Initially, he asked Devon if it was okay to date Hilary. Devon agreed, but later bad-mouthed his ex-wife to Jordan on multiple occasions.

Regardless of what Hilary had done to him, that reflected badly on Devon. At the time Jordan defended Hilary, stating to her ex-husband and to Lily that he wanted to reach his own conclusions.

After being together for a short run, Jordan decided that he wanted to break it off. So he told Hilary that they were finished. While Mr. Wilde did so in a respectful fashion, the fans knew that he had been interested in Lily all along.

Lily and Jordan are said to have met each other during the Fresh Face of Jabot arc, which took place years ago. Hardcore Y&R viewers know that the Jordan character didn’t exist then. So he actually exists through soapy magic.

Hilary has done plenty to Devon and to other people since arriving in Genoa City. She’s no angel, but also isn’t fully to blame for all that’s happened. Hilary was very honest with Mr. Hamilton during the period of their breakup and much to everyone’s surprise, she was true to her word in only wanting GC Buzz in the divorce agreement.

Y&R fans must believe that ‘Lane’ will be revisited at some future point and they already know that ‘Mevon’ has a limited life. In anticipation of Jordan and Devon being romantic free agents again, Hilary merely needs to practice patience. Doing so could result in both men pursuing her once again.
