The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Graham’s True Identity Revealed – Dina Clueless

The Young and the Restless (YR) Spoilers: Graham's True Identity Revealed - Dina CluelessDina (Marla Adams) believed that Graham (Max Shippee) was a trusted companion on ‘The Young and the Restless’. She didn’t know that he wanted to work for Mergeron Enterprises because of his family history. But the reveal that confirms he is Brent Davis’ (Bert Kramer) son will change Dina’s inheritance plans.

Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Jack (Peter Bergman) have been leery of Graham since he first arrived, at Dina’s side in Genoa City. Who was this man and why was he so close to their mother?

Viewers naturally wondered if Graham was simply a close business associate, or a romantic partner, based upon Dina’s infamous reputation. Then, when Madame Mergeron opted to change her will, leaving the bulk of her estate to Graham, sinister motives were ascribed.

The surprising news regarding Graham’s mother being alive altered the soapy calculation. He’d said she was dead and that Dina was the only person who felt like family. So why the lie?

While all combining stories don’t yet reflect a clear conclusion, it seems as though Graham suspected he was Brent’s son for years. Mrs. Bloodworth was once a Genoa City resident herself, as was Graham in his childhood. So apparently his mother was aware of the genetic link between he and Ashley.

Ashley has been openly hostile to Graham for months. In contrast, he’s played the victim. Mr. Bloodworth, which appears to be a last name taken from a step-father, has exhibited passive-aggressive behavior toward the woman who may well be his half-sister.

Just to recap – Dina is not Graham’s mother. Ashley has often wished that Dina was not her mother, but is. Graham and Ashley likely share the same father, who was Brent Davis.

Brent was the tennis pro Dina cavorted with in the 1960’s. That connection resulted in Ashley’s birth, which John (Jerry Douglas), the man who Ashley believed was her father, never knew about. Mrs. Bloodworth’s link to Brent will be explained shortly.
