The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victoria And Victor Newman’s Relationship Still Salvageable?

Victor (Eric Braeden) loves Victoria (Amelia Heinle) on ‘The Young and the Restless’. Nick (Joshua Morrow), well, not as much right now. That’s why Vickie’s softer approach toward her father in recent months yielded a generous business gift that should help her company fight Jabot.

Vickie asked her dad if his gifting a revolutionary skin product to Brash and Sassy came with any strings. He said no and likely meant it. However, if he needs Vickie to be loyal to him in the near future she’s likely going to respond without needing to be asked.

Billy (Jason Thompson) was understandably leery of the ‘Moustache’s’ hairs being intertwined in Brash and Sassy’s business. That image turns some viewer’s stomachs by the way, based upon their view of the ‘Great Man’. Others, see Victor as a capitalist who earned his money, created jobs and pays plenty of taxes. Come to think of it, why would either opinionated take be right?

Brash and Sassy was Newman Enterprises division at birth. It’s mother was Victoria (then played by Heather Tom). The cosmetics brand went dormant for many years before being revived recently. It changed hands from Billy, yes Billy, to Jill (Jess Walton) last year. Vickie later bought one-hundred percent of the company from Jill due to Victor’s encouragement.

Enough with history, now back to the current storyline. So, Victor overheard Billy admitting to having stolen Jabot’s intellectual property, a piece of information the ‘Black Knight’ will surely hold back for opportune use against ‘Billy-boy’ and ‘Smilin’ Jack’.

After Vickie advised her father what was learned about Jabot’s projected plans, he suggested the property rights’ gift, which she was happy to accept. While Billy’s unjust acquisition of Jabot’s business plans will help Brash and Sassy fight dirty, Vickie still needs to sell, sell, sell through the upcoming Christmas season in order to bank plenty of digital cash and remain afloat. That’s why she was willing to accept Victor’s help, which he says will allow Brash and Sassy to win.
