The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Victor Bids Nikki Farewell – Jack Auditions for Calgon Man Role

Victor (Eric Braeden) and Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) have always had a dramatic relationship on ‘The Young and the Restless’. But they might not have a relationship at all now. But petty ‘Prince Nicholas’ (Joshua Morrow) has definitely been kicked out of the ‘Black Knight’s’ life.

This split feels different than past ‘Niktor’ separations, or divorces. While the love birds had fought for a few months, they also appeared to reconcile after the charity concert was a rousing success at Chancellor Park Pavilion.

Nikki arrived at the Ranch after spending time with Jack (Peter Bergman). Actually, she spent the prior evening at the Abbott family’s rustic cabin after asking her one-time husband to whisk her away from it all. Nikki had unfortunately caught Victor and Nick fighting (literally) after leaving the post-concert party that was held at the Top of the Tower.

The ‘Moustache’ told Nick that he was no longer his son in the Newman Towers’ parking garage. Might that aggressive oaf be kicked out of the Tack House and off the Newman grounds soon? The lout referenced was Nick, not Victor. Clarification was needed in this soapy instance as the son has been acting like the father lately.

Based on past history and current evidence, savvy viewers suspect that Jack is open to being Nikki’s Calgon man again. The odds of that reunion happening increased when Victor made a surprising decision.

He and Nikki had a quiet, but unsettling conversation where both parties acknowledged that they love each other. But Mrs. Newman said that she no longer sees her husband the same way as she always had.

Victor advised that he’d also adjusted his view of their marriage. He told his wife that he was tired of apologizing for his actions, didn’t want further the false public face, bid her farewell and then left the unhappy home. Nikki didn’t chase him.
