The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday July 13: Noah Plays Hero, Nick’s Sabotage Scheme Flops – Victor Rejoices – Mariah and Hilary Clash

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, July 13, tease that Victor (Eric Braeden) will vow to save the concert. Backstage, Victor refuses to go back on his promise to Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). He tracks down the safety inspector and convinces him to stick around while this mess gets sorted out.

Nikki hates the idea of letting down the guests, but Nick (Joshua Morrow) offers reassurance. Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) also takes a moment to build Nikki up. She points out that perhaps the universe is cutting Nikki a break with all the soundboard drama. Tessa notes that maybe Nikki won’t have to play through the pain. Nikki grabs some ice packs to put on her achy joints.

Nick once again tries to talk his father out of the concert plan, but Victor isn’t willing to give up. At Sharon’s (Sharon Case) house, she snaps some photos of a dressed-up Mariah (Camryn Grimes) and Devon (Bryton James). Afterward, Mariah returns the favor by taking pics of Sharon and Scott (Daniel Hall).

A woman with MS approaches Nikki a little later. She hands her a pin to celebrate her inspiring story. Meanwhile, the red-carpet coverage brings some surprises. Hilary (Mishael Morgan) interviews the concertgoers as they strut in. Neil (Kristoff St. John) is on hand to give a powerful speech about Nikki’s fighting spirit.

Victoria (Amelia Heinle) helps Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) out when he gets a bit flustered on camera. Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Ravi (Abhi Sinha) give a brief interview, too. Nick refuses to say anything. It seems he’s too fed up with Victor’s antics. Once Mariah arrives, she clashes with Hilary over her hosting duties. Mariah is irked that she was left out of the coverage.

When Jack (Peter Bergman) picks Dina (Marla Adams) up for the concert, he spars slightly with Graham (Max Shippee). Back at the venue, Noah (Robert Adamson) gets updates on the malfunctioning soundboard and offers his assistance. He eventually returns with an extra soundboard that Nick never mentioned.

Abby is annoyed that Nick was holding out on them, but she lets it go. She’s just happy that a crisis was averted. Victor learns the good news and praises Abby for staying relatively calm during the chaos. He meets back up with Nikki and insists that everything is going to be just fine. Victor lets Nikki know that he loves her and she gives him a kiss.

Nick looks troubled as Tessa takes the stage. He can tell that Nikki isn’t truly prepared to tickle the ivories. We’ll keep you posted as other “Young and the Restless” details and rumors emerge. Stick with the Y&R to see this concert’s exciting conclusion.
