The Young and the Restless Spoilers Monday July 10: Victor and Nick’s Showdown – Cane Tells Mattie He Was Fired – Victoria Apologizes

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Monday, July 10, tease that Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) is in for a shock. Cane (Daniel Goddard) will tell his daughter that he was just let go from Brash and Sassy. A stunned Mattie will reel from the revelation. She’ll be blown away when she hears that Victoria (Amelia Heinle) fired Cane so abruptly.

Of course, this has actually been building for a while. Cane made a series of poor choices and they landed him in hot water.

Juliet (Laur Allen) made some bad decisions of her own. When you add up everyone’s blunders, it equals a huge mess for Cane’s family. Lily (Christel Khalil), Mattie and Charlie (Noah Alexander Gerry) will have to deal with the continued aftermath.

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers state that Victoria will feel a little guilty about the collateral damage. She’ll hate the fact that Cane’s loved ones are suffering. Nevertheless, Victoria did what she had to do. She’ll tell Lily that she’s sorry she had to fire Cane, but he really left her no choice. Victoria has to put her company first or they’ll all be out of jobs.

Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) and Mattie may have some issues to sort out soon. Will they bond over the crisis or turn against each other instead? Y&R fans will be anxious to see how things shape up. Stay tuned to the CBS soap for updates on all the teen drama.

In the meantime, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will plan on doing whatever it takes to protect Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott). He can tell that his mom is under a tremendous amount of pressure. Since Nikki is refusing to back out of the concert, Nick will push Victor (Eric Braeden) to call it off himself. He’ll argue that Victor isn’t doing this for Nikki’s benefit. Nick will believe Victor’s motives are far more selfish.

It’s clear that Victor wants to make amends with his family. Nick won’t think this is the way to achieve that. He’ll feel like Victor’s manipulation tactics are destined to fail and they’ll take a toll on Nikki’s health in the process.
