The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday December 1: Chelsea Rattled, Paternity Secret at Risk – Scott’s Job Offer – Sam’s Risky Surgery

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, December 1, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will give Ashley (Eileen Davidson) and Lily (Christel Khalil) some big news. At the athletic club, they learn Abby quit her job at Newman. After Ashley takes off, Lily opens up about Cane (Daniel Goddard) and the latest baby drama. She’s worried about Sam and his dad.

Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) runs into Cane at Crimson Lights. She’s sorry about Juliet (Laur Allen) as well as Sam’s troubles. Nearby, Sharon (Sharon Case) grills Scott (Daniel Hall) about his upcoming interview. Scott offers reassurance and Sharon’s on board with whatever he’s cooking up.

At Newman Enterprises, Nikki (Melissa Ordway) and Victor bicker a bit before Ashley arrives. Ash confronts Victor about forcing Abby out of the company. She thinks it’s ridiculous after everything Abby’s been through. Victor admits he wasn’t in the loop and vows to make it right. Ashley snaps that Victor should just forget it. She notes that there’s a place for Abby at Jabot.

Afterward, Nikki and Ashley discuss Dina’s (Marla Adams) Alzheimer’s. Ash suggests she won’t take anything for granted anymore. She meets back up with Ravi (Abhi Sinha) and thanks him for a great time. They acknowledge their sexy fun and Ravi wants to plan another night like that. Ashley prefers to make it more spontaneous, but Ravi seems concerned.

At Nick (Joshua Morrow) and Chelsea’s (Melissa Claire Egan) place, they kiss under the mistletoe and hang Christmas ornaments. Nick realizes there’s one that Adam (Justin Hartley) gave Chelsea. He wants to hang it on the tree.

Later, Nick hears Sharon’s surprising suggestion. She’d like for Scott to move in, so she asks for Nick’s thoughts on the matter. Nick notes that Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) enjoys hanging out with Scott, so he gives his approval.

Over at the hospital, a nurse explains that Sam needs extra blood for his surgery. She assumes Lily is Sam’s mom, but is quickly corrected. However, Lily’s happy to give blood since hers is ideal. Cane is grateful for all Lily’s help. Back at Newman, Victor hints that Victoria might be jealous of Abby. He wants her to rehire her sister.

Abby shows up as Victor hears about Scott’s interview. In a TV studio, Scott sits down with an anchor to discuss the sex ring and Abby’s innocence. He also defends Newman and points out that no one saw this coming. Once the interview wraps up, Scott’s offered a job as a news reporter. The catch is he would have to move to New York.

In his office, Victor leaves his daughters to work out their issues. Abby delivers her demands and faces some hostility from Victoria. She snarls that she won’t forget how Victoria treated her. Victor visits the penthouse to ask about Chelsea’s RSVP. He warns that Chelsea and Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois) need to be at the tree-lighting. If not, Victor implies that he’ll spill Christian’s paternity secret.
