Sally (Courtney Hope) needs funding on ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’. Thomas (Pierson Fode) may have just returned to New York with Caroline (Linsey Godfrey) and their son, but he has the bucks to recharge Spectra Fashions. Meanwhile, ‘Dollar Bill’ (Don Diamont) is walking on a tightrope whether he realizes it or not.
The building Spectra was based in was not covered by insurance. So Sally and her team will be forced to work from home indefinitely. But they’ll still need some type of financial backing to get back in the fashion game.
Thomas still loves Sally, which was confirmed by his quick return from the ‘Big Apple’. Whether the current love of his life will allow him to back any attempted comeback remains to be seen. But he stands as a source if need be.
Bill made a major strategic mistake when he told Liam (Scott Clifton) that he had ordered arson to apparently kill Spectra off. Some could say that bit of soapy dialogue was injected into B&B’s scripts to further the storyline. However, when one considers Bill’s ego his response to Liam’s pressured question makes sense.
Liam is not his dad’s son. Bill sees the world as a place to conquer. Liam possesses a personality type that’s always seeking a new cause to back.
It was very clear that Sally’s designs, sans Thomas’ flair, were great. She was likely to see her new fashion line pop, which would have indefinitely delayed Bill’s plan to raise Sky high.
Diamont’s character’s flaw, in this instance, is his insistence that his legacy skyscraper specifically be built on the ground where the dust of Spectra’s rags lie. Combine that with his impulsive acknowledgment of having ordered the torch job and trouble reasonably is projected.
Justin (Aaron Spears) should have been the only soul Bill confided in, but he wasn’t. Liam confirmed his fears and then told Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). The more people who become aware of Bill’s criminal order the greater chance he stands of facing heavy legal consequences.
