Genie Francis Leaving General Hospital Temporarily

General Hospital spoilers and comings and goings reveal that August 4 is Nicolas Bechtel’s final airdate as Spencer Cassadine.  On the recent GH episode, Laura Spencer announced that she was taking Spencer out of Port Charles, since he has an unhealthy obsession with getting revenge on Valentin for his dad’s murder.

According to an all new General Hospital spoiler report, it will be several weeks before Genie Francis returns to Port Charles after leaving with her grandson Spencer.  Both Genie Francis and her on screen love interest Jon Lindstrom will be off the canvas for quite a while.  Have no fear though, at this point their leave is just temporary, and the plan is that Laura and Jon will both return to the ABC soap this fall.
