General Hospital Spoilers: Love Can Hurt…Especially In Port Charles

It’s fortunate that it isn’t Valentine’s Day season, because love on “General Hospital” isn’t exactly roses, flowers, and candy right now. In a new Twitter promo, “General Hospital” teased fans with a promise of love interwoven with sorrow.

“Nothing says #GH like love in the afternoon…THIS WEEK ON #GH… the hearts of Port Charles have all been laid out on the floor.”

The promo featured a reminder that Jason was shot, horrified gasps, a pronouncement of love, and a slap. Add in symbols for hearts and broken hearts, and Twitter fans had lots of questions about the love part of the equation, along with predictions.

Who’s Hurt By Heartbreak And Who Gets Love?

“Heartbreak for Sam,” tweeted one Twitter user, referring to Kelly Monaco’s character and her ongoing challenges with Jason (Billy Miller).

Some focused on exactly who will find love in the afternoon. With the ongoing question of how General Hospital can re-invent the couple known as Julexis (Julian and Alexis) after he threatened her life, some fans hoped that the lovebirds would find a way to rekindle their romance.

“I want #Julexis back and love in the afternoon for them!! #GH,” tweeted one fan.

But amid a multitude of fans urging that Julexis return, one fan recalled a love story of the past.
“You know what love story we miss?? #FAYDEN,” wrote the Twitter user. “#BringHaydenBack.”

Then there were those on Team Sam. Some questioned whether the love was in the promo and urged for a change of pace for Jason and Sam. Although the show is, after all, entitled “General Hospital,” at least one fan felt that there were enough hospital scenes as far as Jason and Sam are concerned.

“I didn’t see any love and don’t you think Jason & Sam have been hospitalized enough now ??? can we see them w their children soon,” pleaded the fan.
