General Hospital Classic Bromance: Steve Burton and Maurice Benard Tweet Love and RespectGeneral Hospital has a new bromance developing between two of the show’s biggest stars: Steve Burton and Maurice Benard. As a matter of fact, the two handsome actors managed to delight fans when they shared their mutual love and respect for one another on Twitter.

It all began with a powerful clip in which Patient Six (or the “original” Jason, according to fans) shared an emotional scene with Maurice’s mob boss character Sonny. At one point he even told him, “I would never turn my back on you. I wouldn’t walk away and start a media company or anything else.”

A lot of fans wrote that they were absolutely blown away by Steve and Maurice’s performance, with some even calling it the best scene of the year. Some viewers commented about how happy they were to see Jason and Sonny reunited, with the hopes that they will see much more of them together in future episodes.
