.EastEnders Spoilers: Will Stacey Fowler And Her Baby Survive?EastEnders’ Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner) has been suffering greatly mostly because her children were taken away from her. Carmel Kazemi reported Stacey for child abuse to social services after watching Stacey’s behaviour deteriorate.

Stacey suffers from bi-polar disorder and the medication she usually takes cannot be taken when she is pregnant as it could harm the baby. But this means that her mental health is unraveling. We have seen her usual kind and motherly personality disappear and be replaced with paranoia and confusion. She has lashed out at loved ones and caused serious risk to her young children.

The 10th of March was world mental health day and EastEnders coverage of Stacey’s bi-polar coincides with this important date. The show is depicting a very realistic and heart-breaking scenario which is known worldwide. Not only do we feel sympathy for Stacey herself, but also for her husband Martin Fowler (James Bye) who is being a very supportive ally. This representation is important as mental health is still a taboo in many parts of the world.

Things are about to get a whole lot worse for the Fowler family. As Stacey is going to suffer a huge seizure which will lead to an emergency C-section. Lacey Turner told The Mirror, “It’s really serious and both her and the baby’s lives are at risk.” Will the premature baby be able to make it? 1 in 10 babies who are born prematurely do not pull through. But will there be a happy ending for Stacey and Martin?  What will it do to Stacey’s fragile mind if the baby is lost? Is this just the start of her unravelling?

The fate of the Fowler’s is still unclear but the drama will be unraveling very soon. Do you want Stacey to make a full recovery and gain custody of her children back?
