‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Chloe Lets Kevin Get Closer – “Khloe” Reunion Flows

Mariah (Camryn Grimes) had it right on ‘The Young and the Restless‘. Since Adam (Justin Hartley) died, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) suddenly needed Kevin (Greg Rikaart) when she didn’t before. With whatever his ex-wife thinks about Billy (Jason Thompson), there’s no doubt that a ‘Khloe’ reunion is becoming possible.

Chloe is a curious character. Vulnerable, yet detestable. It’s easy to offer empathy to this still-grieving mother, while at the same time seeing her with scorn. The woman who appears to be helping a claimed-friend (Chelsea, Melissa Claire Egan), also shot the second half of ‘Chadam’ with a dart gun. Then, she either left Adam for dead, or also caused the cabin he was lying unconscious in to explode. Did she cause his death, if he’s dead of course?

The Kevin developments do make sense on many levels. At this point who else knows Chloe better than Esther (Kate Linder)? No one except her former husband Kevin. This is the same man who was a wonderful father to Delia (Sophie Pollono) and was completely loyal as a spouse. Plus, ‘Khloe’ was a very fun power couple to be part of until Chloe opted to end their nuptials.

Kevin doesn’t know that his ex-wife took an unauthorized sample of Billy’s genetics and created Delia’s sequel and sister Bella (Cali May Kinder). That information will be revealed someday. When that happens Chloe may be in for a surprise. If she truly hasn’t had a DNA test conducted, then it’s possible that Kevin is actually Bella’s father.

Billy never considered Chloe to be anything more than a distraction since she first stalked him in New York. While he completely cared about their daughter (Delia), Billy did not and likely will never see Chloe as future wife material. No, Vickie (Amelia Heinle) had his heart until recently and now Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) does. While Chloe doesn’t realize it, she’d be very fortunate if Kevin is actually Bella’s dad. So, this growing fondness for her former spouse might actually be seen in retrospect as a blessing.
