Some optimistic DOOL fans were hoping that it was just a rumor that had spiraled out of control since nobody from NBC had confirmed or denied the casting news. Sadly, that is not the case. Martha Madison, aka Belle, took to Twitter and confirmed the spoilers – she is once again headed out of Salem.

Madison tweeted a link to Daytime Confidential’s report and stated, “Au revoir Salem! #Leo #NineLives.” Of course, ‘Days Of Our Lives’ fans flooded Martha’s Twitter account with well wishes and outcries that she had been let go. A few hours later Madison returned to Twitter and thanked everyone for their support, the actress tweeted: “Thank you for all the sweet tweets y’all! Your support feels awesome! #Onward #FacingForward #ChinUp.”
Of course, no one wants to be let go from their job. Martha seems to be taking the news fairly well though, and the fact that she added “Nine Lives” to her message has us wondering if there is a chance that Belle Black could make another comeback to Salem in the future. Regardless, Martha Madison is a busy lady and she has plenty of other projects going on right now to distract her, like her internet series ‘Winterthorne’ – which just one a ton of awards at the Indie’s.
