‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Freddie Smith Says Goodbye To Salem – Sonny Leaving DOOL This Week

On Friday we reported that rumors have been swirling around the internet that “Days of Our Lives” star Guy Wilson was out as Will Horton.  On he heels of the rumor on Tuesday August 18, 2015 Will’s husband Sonny (Freddie Smith) will says goodbye to Salem.  They won’t be killing Sonny off, he will be leaving to work for his grandfather Victor in Europe.  So there is always a possibility he will return.  Freddie said about the possibility of a return, “I’ll be back.”

Freddie talked to Soap Opera Digest about leaving “Days of Our Lives” and said, “As Sonny, I was saying good-bye to the people in his life, and I was saying farewell to people that I’ve worked with for four years. My life in Salem as Sonny, and my job at ‘DAYS’ melded together. It was very emotional.”

We wish Freddie Smith much success in his future endeavors!
