The Young and the Restless Spoilers Thursday August 3: Mariah Kisses Tessa – Someone Spies on Jack and Nikki – Ashley Takes Action

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, August 3, tease that Abby (Melissa Ordway) will be taken aback by Victor’s (Eric Braeden) revelation. At Newman Enterprises, Victor reveals that he gave Hilary (Mishael Morgan) his blessing. He let her run the brawl footage because Nick (Joshua Morrow) deserved it.

Abby shifts gears and shares her concerns about Victoria (Amelia Heinle). She’s worried about how her sister is handling her company’s issues. Victor calls Victoria to check on her, but it doesn’t go over well. Victoria makes Abby come in for a meeting a little later. She’s upset that Abby told Victor about her meltdown over Brash and Sassy. However, Abby points out that it came from a place of love.

At Jabot, Ben Hochman arrives hoping to make a deal. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Ashley (Eileen Davidson) aren’t on board with the idea of taking Ben on as an investor. When Ben runs into Phyllis (Gina Tognoni), she makes an intriguing suggestion. Phyllis notes that Victoria might be looking for an investor at Brash and Sassy. She implies that it wouldn’t hurt to use a romantic approach.

Elsewhere, Graham (Max Shippee) gets updates on Jack (Peter Bergman) and Nikki’s (Melody Thomas Scott) growing bond. Dina (Marla Adams) contends that it’s sure to cause problems. Gloria (Judith Chapman) seems jealous when she learns Jack is heading to the cabin with Nikki. She brings it up to Graham before they plan a date.

At the cabin, Jack teases Nikki as she struggles with fishing gear. She confesses that she doesn’t have any experience. They talk about making new memories and eventually share another kiss. Someone watches and takes a picture of their lip lock outside the window.

Meanwhile, Ashley has a conversation with her mom. Dina admits that she’s been feeling down since she sold Mergeron. Ashley gives Ravi (Abhi Sinha) the news and decides she might be able to solve the problem. She hopes she can make Dina feel needed again.

Across town, Nick and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) make love. A phone call comes in from Dean, a man who’s helping Nick with some bidding wars. Dean insists that they missed out on two buildings, but we later see that Victor is pulling the strings. Vic tells Dean to let him know what Nick does next.

In San Francisco, Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) share a deep conversation. They have the room to themselves since Noah (Robert Adamson) and Devon (Bryton James) are at a meeting. Tessa can tell that Mariah isn’t quite herself. She pushes Mariah to come clean about what’s bothering her.

Mariah admits that things are going OK with Devon, but she doesn’t know what she wants anymore. She’s overwhelmed by how confused she’s feeling. Tessa notes that she’s been in Mariah’s shoes before. She moves in close and puts her hand on Mariah’s shoulder. Tessa wants to help if she can.

Mariah turns toward Tessa and touches her face. She leans in and pauses before planting a kiss on Tessa. It looks like their love lives just got a lot more complicated.
