The Young and the Restless Spoilers Friday, August 18: Victoria Faces Total Humiliation – Neil Saves Brash and Sassy – Phyllis Takes a Stand“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday, August 18, tease that Dina (Marla Adams) and Jack (Peter Bergman) will argue about Billy (Jason Thompson). At Jabot, Dina gripes about Jack’s decision to raise Brash and Sassy’s rent. Jack rants about Billy’s actions, but Ashley (Eileen Davidson) sends them to their corners.

When Ashley brings up the flawed budget report, Dina lies that she fixed it back in her suite. Later, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Billy share some passionate moments in the elevator. When they’re done, Billy gives Phyllis bad news. He explains the rent issue and she dashes off to meet with Ben Hochman (Ben Hermes). Phyllis learns Ben’s deal with Victoria didn’t pan out.

Meanwhile, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) fills Neil (Kristoff St. John) in on her problems. He notes that he’d be willing to provide the bridge loan. Neil just wants to make sure Lily (Christel Khalil) can stay on board with the Dare campaign. Victoria agrees and is grateful for Neil’s help.

At the pool bar, Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) and Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) will discuss the issues between their families. When Cane (Daniel Goddard) appears, Reed takes off. Cane tells Mattie he’s sorry he went off on her the other day. He admits he overreacted, but still doesn’t like the idea of her dating Reed.

Once Cane’s gone, Reed meets back up with Mattie and wonders where they stand. She leaves him without an answer. However, Mattie changes her tune after spotting Victoria with Neil. She realizes there are some secrets in play, so she thinks it wouldn’t hurt to add another one. Reed and Mattie decide they’re OK with a sneaky romance.

At Lily’s place, Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood) mentions that he’s going to look for work in New York. He wants Lily to come along, but she refuses because of the twins. Jordan mentions that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) has been jealous lately.

Lily makes it clear that she doesn’t approve of anything Hilary does. She thinks Jordan can do better than a woman like that. Jordan suggests that the woman he wants may not be available. He leans in and plants a kiss on Lily.

At the television studio, Hilary and Mariah (Camryn Grimes) clash over the new story. No one on the staff knows what Hilary has in store. Back at Jabot, Phyllis tells Jack about the failed deal between Ben and Victoria. She brings up Cane’s involvement and notes that they’re dying to bring Billy down. Phyllis contends that Jack can consider her off the team.


At Brash and Sassy, Victoria is pleased by the agreement she made with Neil. She gives Billy updates on the simple terms. They just have to make sure Lily has a job. At the athletic club, Cane and Ben watch the TV near the bar. Hilary teases an exclusive story on Victoria and includes Ben’s name as well. Ben tells Cane that he doesn’t need his assistance after all and heads out.

After receiving a text from Cane, Victoria and Billy turn on the show. They’re stunned when Hilary airs the footage of Victoria’s fight with Ben. Ashley, Jack and Phyllis also gape over the story as they watch at Jabot. This “Young and the Restless” bomb will definitely catch them by surprise.
