‘The Young and the Restless’ POLL: Does Chelsea Only Belong with Adam or Is There Hope with Nick? VOTE!

“The Young and the Restless” viewers know that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam (Justin Hartley) have a deep connection. They always seem to overcome the obstacles that get in their way. However, Adam is now facing a lengthy prison sentence and he may not be able to clear his name anytime soon.

As Adam’s optimism fades, he’ll begin to shut Chelsea out again. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Chelsea will worry that Adam will completely cut her off. He may decide to stop visits entirely and that could mean bad news for their relationship. Adam may return to the idea of setting Chelsea free.

If Adam divorces Chelsea, she would obviously feel hurt and confused. Chelsea wants to stand by her man, but she can’t do that if a misguided Adam won’t let her. Meanwhile, Nick (Joshua Morrow) will do whatever he can to get Adam off the hook. He’ll work on finding the missing journal entries and offering Chelsea support.

Of course, Nick may not have much luck when it comes to the diary. So far, Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has succeeded in pointing the finger away from herself. Chelsea honestly believes that Chloe is innocent. If Victor (Eric Braeden) can’t get the pages from Chloe, then it’s doubtful Nick will be able to do much.

Nevertheless, Nick could try to help Chelsea cope with Adam’s decision to keep her at a distance. Chelsea and Nick might even develop feelings for each other. Some “Young and the Restless” rumors are definitely hinting at this possibility.

If Adam indeed goes through with a divorce, Nick and Chelsea might become a new pairing. Do you think Chelsea and Nick could work as a couple? Many “Chadam” fans would probably say no way. It’s true that Adam and Chelsea’s chemistry may be impossible to match.

On the other hand, it could provide some good drama. Nick may not be as electrifying with Chelsea as Adam is, but they might be pleasant enough together. It would certainly create an epic brother battle once Adam finally secures his release.

When you add Christian’s paternity into the mix, things could get unbelievably messy. If Nick steals Adam’s true love, you’d better believe the gloves will come off. It might be fun to see Adam pull out all the stops to win Chelsea back.
