Abbott Moral Dilemma
Before getting to the 2-weekers, let’s discuss what is coming up from August 17 to 21, 2026. First of all, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will share news about Chancellor with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland).
They are all worried about Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). However, it seems that Jack is ready to finally let Billy go. Whatever Billy does is totally on him and the Abbott family isn’t involved anymore. Honestly, that sounds like the best plan.
Over with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), he will try to discredit Billy’s claims that Chancellor actually belongs to the Abbott family.
Billy was warned that he would lose absolutely everything if he continues with his Chancellor fixation.
Billy is going to do it anyway, which could end up forcing Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to make a tough decision. Sally is getting ready to be a mother, she doesn’t have time to worry about Billy’s childish obsessions.
Forbidden Connection
As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), they could continue to get closer. I wonder how long until Victor or even Claire Grace Newman (Hayley Erin) realizes what’s going on.
Elsewhere, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) tries to smooth things over with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). The interaction might have Sharon checking in with Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) rehab, just to make sure he’s okay.
Next 2 Weeks
The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of August 24 suggest that we could see Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) get even closer to Christian Newman (last played by Alex Wilson).
The two had a good chat about Nick’s addiction, but it was clear Adam wants to be there for Christian moving forward. For fans that don’t know, Adam is Christian’s bio dad.
Finally, we could see Kyle and Victoria enter a dangerous dynamic. They would never hurt each other intentionally, but their union will definitely be forbidden.
We could also see what happens to Chancellor. Is Billy right, or are there things he doesn’t know? If this plan fails, Billy could finally hit rock bottom.
