Y&R Spoilers: Malcolm’s Bone Marrow Match – Cane Saves The Day?

Holden Novak Was Not A Match

The Young and the Restless spoilers remind fans that Malcolm is on a time crunch. The sooner he finds a bone marrow match; the sooner he can get the transplant he needs. The more time that goes by, Malcolm’s chances for survival decrease.

Unfortunately, his biological daughter, Lily, cannot donate her bone marrow due to her chemotherapy treatments when she had cancer.

This prompted Dr. Stephanie Simmons (Vivica A. Fox) to reveal a decades-old secret: that her son, current GC resident, Holden Novak (Nathan Owens), is Malcolm’s long-lost son. Sadly, when Holden got tested, it turned out he wasn’t a match.

Right now, Malcolm jetted off to Los Angeles to meet with Lily’s twins, his biological grandchildren, to see if they are bone marrow matches. With that said, the situation looks bleak.

Cane Ashby To The Rescue

If neither of Lily’s kids ends up being a bone marrow donor, then the family will issue a call to action for friends and family. Malcolm is much-loved in Genoa City and has a huge circle, and everyone will step up to the plate to see if they can help.

All arrows are pointing to the fact that Malcolm won’t get the results he’s looking for while in L.A. As Cane is anxious to show Lily and the world what a good guy he is, he’ll certainly get tested. Malcolm recently shared words with Cane, showing his disdain for Lily’s ex.

How ironic would it be if Cane ended up being a bone marrow match? This would definitely be the redemption Cane needs to “win back” Lily, or at the very least, garner some sort of respect from the Winters clan. So … will Cane be the one show who saves the day for Malcolm, Lily, and the rest of the family?
