But when fans next see him in GC, will they recognize him? Speculation has it that the original Holden, Curtis Washington, will reprise the role and is the iteration that returns to GC.
As such, we may see a different dynamic take shape between Holden and Claire Newman (Hayley Erin).

Think about it: will Claire and Holden have the same rizz as we’ve seen previously? There is no guarantee.
In fact, it may be that the show plans to end Holden and Claire’s romance if there is a recast. Maybe Holden comes home with different priorities and wants to slow down or quicken up his relationship and Claire disagrees.
Will Holden Change?
Holden was the one initially pushing for dates, and eventually Claire came around. If she doesn’t move as fast as he wants, he has other options in GC. First and foremost is Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) a woman Holden shares a past with.
Will Audra Make a Move?
Audra has gone a long time without a man and many fans would love to see more of her on the canvas. She’s working with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) now but there’s always room for romance.
If Holden leaves Claire it would be the perfect opening for her to chase her ex Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor)—never mind that he’s seeing her mom!
At the very least, we can see Claire crying to Kyle about her breakup and this could lead to more given their past.

Right now it’s a hot mess secret that Vyle are together. The plot is sizzling but it would be even crunchier if Kyle got close to Claire again and played both sides of the fence.
