Daniel will offer to be there as a friend for Abby and promise to listen to what she has to say.
After all, Daniel just backed away from Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) to allow her and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) to reunite.
Abby Winters Clashes With Devon Winters
Abby has been at odds with Devon Winters (Bryton James) for some time. Devon is furious with Mariah over kidnapping his son and she is about to be released from the mental health facility she has been in for the past few months.
Devon feels that Mariah should have spent time in prison instead of getting off so easily.
Mariah is ready to come home and Devon doesn’t trust that she won’t come after his son again. Devon and Abby have always allowed Mariah to have contact with their son ever since he was born.
Devon recently met with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) who agrees with Devon about Mariah and the kidnapping. Abby is trying to deal with his actions.
Daniel Romalotti Is There For Abby Winters
Daniel had gotten into a relationship with Tessa while Mariah was away in Boston. This was before Mariah chose to listen to the voices in her head and ended up kidnapping Dominic Winters (Ethan Ray Clark). Daniel broke things off with Tessa so she could give her marriage another shot once Mariah returned.
Mariah finally admitted that she wanted to get her marriage back on track. Tessa has been there to support her. Mariah’s actions have caused Daniel to be heartbroken over her return.
Daniel feels that he is the best person to be there for Abby now that Mariah is ready to come home. Will Daniel and Abby connect over their shared issues?
Devon Winters Is Pushing Abby Winters Away
Devon has chosen to continue to argue with Abby over what to do about Mariah. Abby is having major issues with Devon trying to force a prison sentence on the woman who carried their child.
Mariah was mentally ill when she chose to kidnap Dominic and Abby doesn’t feel like her son is at risk of being kidnapped again. Devon refuses to listen to anything Abby has to say.
Abby may find herself leaning on Daniel during this time and possible feeling pulled to him on a deeper level. Could Abby and Daniels connection lead to an affair if she and Devon continue to clash?
Will Abby seek comfort in Daniel as Devon and Ashley join forces to work to keep Mariah away? Is Devon ruining his marriage by refusing to be more understanding?
