The actress made a shocking confession this week and revealed that her life isn’t always as great as it appears on Instagram.
Y&R Star Shares Surgery Update
The Young and the Restless fan fave took to Instagram and shared an emotional post about her health. Courtney Hope confessed that she might look like she’s in great shape on the outside, however she has been suffering for years behind the scenes.
Hope explained that she’s been struggling with endometriosis and its excruciating side effects for half of her life, but now she has reason to celebrate!
The Sally Spectra portrayer shared a photo on her Instagram page and revealed to her followers she was recovering from endometriosis excision surgery.
The Y&R cast member explained, “Endometriosis, adenomyosis and PMOS are no joke,” Hope stated then went on to explain, “It took me 34 years and multiple gynos to finally get diagnosed with all three by the best, Dr. Thaïs Aliabadi. Now, two years later I am recovering after my surgery to remove it all.”
The actress added, “Advocate for yourself if you believe you may hove endo, adeno or PMOS! Intense pain, exhaustion, inflammation, cysts and bleeding aren’t normal! I normally don’t share health updates but if I had known sooner what to look for I could have potentially saved myself years of suffering.”
Will Sally Spectra Be Missing On Y&R
While Courtney Hope’s surgery is definitely serious, there’s no reason to think that she’ll be missing from the soap opera in upcoming months.
