The Young and the Restless spoilers for the week of September 28-October 2 hint at some bombshells in Genoa City, as well as a flurry of casting news!!

Ashley Abbott’s Return

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that despite her recent injury, actress Eileen Davidson, who plays Ashley Abbott is back on set filming for the CBS soap.

Davidson, who has to wear a knee brace as she required surgery after a cold plunge accident, posted a selfie of herself in her dressing room, noting, “Apparently, it’s true. The show must go on!” At least the actress is in good spirits despite her recent bad luck.

It’s important to note that The Young and the Restless films several weeks in advance, so fans should expect to see Ashley sometime in late October, early November.

Maybe Ashley’s back on the canvas for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) wedding perhaps? Only time will tell!

Speaking of Ashley, her daughter, Abby Winters, played by Melissa Ordway, will appear during the week of September 28. Abby will have a chat with Billy and Sally about the gender of their baby. Will fans find out if Silly is having a boy or a girl?

In addition, Lauralee Bell gets more time on the canvas this week as Christine Blair Romalotti. The stepmom will help offer guidance to Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei), on Tuesday, September 29.

Lastly, Esther Valentine will appear onscreen during the Wednesday, September 30 show as Kate Linder reprises the role. Esther gives Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) some words of wisdom. Could this be about her “feelings” for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)?
