The American Idol alum has won 22 Daytime Emmy Awards for her series and her segments of Kellyoke (where she takes requests from the audience) have gone viral on more than one occasion.

She explained that she wants to prioritize her children and needs to be there for them moving forward.  Clarkson shared the unexpected news in an emotional post on her Instagram.
